This happened to me, and now I have a ruptured eardrum because of it that's been taking nearly a year to heal. I just recently found out that I have to get it surgically repaired and it's just been a nightmare trying to get everything together in order to have this surgery done. The person who did this to me has no remorse. This is the sole reason why I discovered FDS and it's been life changing.

Yup, also never! I think of Halloween as a day for being able to express your interest in things you personally like

Women are so much better at logical thinking. I've never understood why society thinks men are more logical? Nearly every man I've met has some serious anger issues. I'm not sure if they just don't see anger as being emotional or whatever the case may be, but 9/10 the most irrational people I've ever met were always men.

We are happy to have you here. Very glad you're no longer with your ex, it was absolutely for the best. No more having NVM in your life!

Yes. Her behavior was very atrocious, so they are perfect for each other haha.

Oh ew that's actually really gross...yeah now that I look back, there was actually no need for him to send me her page to follow (they are both blocked). Adding this term to my mental library ..big yikes!!

Oh yeah of course! Glad it helped!

Thank you for the kind words, I wrote this whole encounter out because I'm sure others can benefit from seeing a grade-A example of an LVM and just avoid men/people like this at all costs...

It's strange, I had no idea it was his ex until months after the fact...but I might add, this guy was literally so obsessed with her, he wanted to commit suicide when he found out she was dating someone else...and got mad at her for it even, and they weren't even together. I was genuinely appaled that I knew someone this long and they kept it all hidden. Very scary stuff .. I also never heard of triangulation, do you think you could explain that to me?

Bruno Bucciarati from Jojo, he willingly gave his life up to save his friends. All of his friends are actually just people who he took a chance on and took them in and made them the best version of themselves, and even if they turned on him, he just protected the people who still stood by his side from the people who started to disrespect him. He also treats women extremely kindly and cares for their well-being, and never pushed a sexual agenda and was always platonic. Like why can't men like th…

Time and time again, every time I lowered my standards for anyone, it always ended up with me in pain and suffering abuse at the hands of a man. I'll never ever in my life do that again, it's not worth the trouble. Absolutely keep your standards high and tell anyone who expects you to lower them to screw off

Hey there. The first thing you need to do is have compassion for yourself and what happened to you. It is good that you are in therapy for the trauma you experienced. Are you taking any medications along with therapy to help the symptoms of sadness? It's easy to beat yourself up for letting a man hurt you. This has happened to many women here. In fact, that is the whole reason why we are all here in this group together, to protect our emotions, body, and soul from men who do things like this. Th…

Hey there, a few months back I broke up with a very cold and dry ex. You should try to find the strength to leave, even if it stings for a long while.

Wonderful mantra. I all to well know that sting, you are not alone. Someone who can't make time for you probably isn't as high value as you think they are

Wow thank you so much. I love to exercise, I do it almost everyday. I have to get the whole therapy sessions started up though.

Absolutely!! In high school men where always built up, put on pedestals, and fuck boys where extremely tolerated. I would want to teach this generation of women in high school that men putting in the most minimal amount of effort just isn't worth their time

I was in a similar situation, he was dry and cold, and sounds exactly the same as the LVM you met.

I agree with you, high school must be a breeding ground for LVM these days.

These are the lies they tell themselves to feel better about the fact that women, no matter what age, will always have a plentiful selection of males to choose from.

Yeah. I was very damaged by this person for some time. At least now, I can look back and feel really creeped out at the lack of empathy

Aw man thanks for the compliment. I've always been pretty head strong. Which is also exactly what narcs are attracted too

And that's why I NEXTed this dude haha

I never thought about this! That's absolutely true. Never date a man who has housemates, they're often spewing off each other's toxicity, reinforcing even depending on the type of people that live there too. All good points.

Oh yeah for sure. I have always been the type to be consistently loving, doesn't really matter if I am satisfied, I'm always down to be lovey with my partner. Gotta make sure I save that for a HVM.

I've talked to some of my good friends, and they also agree that this was some really cowardly behavior. Thank you for writing this up, it really puts a whole lot into perspective. He definitely could have just said, I'm tired, you should leave, I can handle the rest from here. I could have then just been sad in the comfort of my own home at least, but didn't even recieve that. Couldn't even get the bare minimum!!

Thank you, you're totally right. I'll keep that in mind for literally...forever, lol

Absolutely. Healing takes so much time from these types of men.

Damn, puts it all into perspective. Thank you. Seeing it this way is really eye opening

That's very true. That's what's scary about dating, there's a lot of hidden narcs out there.

Just tell him that he isn't the person for you if he avoids things and can't make up his mind. Block him and stay busy..even if you started the communication, you have the right go shut the door on him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/02/20 10:08 AM

Nope. I'd nope out of there. Someone who avoids conversations, makes excuses, isn't a stand up guy is not high value.

He clearly just had them both around for his ugly ego.

My ex was just friends with his ex and ending up cheating on me with her, gave her rides, did favors, etc.

You're way too young to worry about having a boyfriend. I'm 20 and I'm still not worried about involving myself with men just because of all the horror stories I read about on just this website alone. You have so much more life to live, in fact there's so much to do in life that there's always going to be a time and place for men in your life when you've completed all of it. Leave this loser and focus on yourself

Reading this actually makes me feel like a really deep disgusting feeling towards men and this sadness for you. I'm sorry you had to experience that =(

Nagging is like the male version of trying to say "mansplaing". Like how is explaining = nagging in their heads?

https://www.livescience.com/61987-empathy-women-men.html This study says that empathy isn't genetic, which leads me to believe that men's lack of empathy is probably some kind of learned behavior?

What is horrible for saying that men have issues with porn?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
