I don't know, I think the opposite. If you are in a position to get in a relationship with someone, there is friendship potential. Just join a team, play some sports. I think when you're 37 or 47, you'll feel differently. You can make friends, but if you're not attractive it'll be much tougher to have relationships, while hanging out with people will be comparatively easy.
