That's why I don't like when this community urges people to chase money instead of chasing women. You're still imprisoned in the rat race. Are material accomplishments really much better than sexual/romantic accomplishments?

So, would retirees get an exception? What about people with disabilities? What about stay-at-home spouses? Is it assessed by household or by individual? And wait, you wouldn't factor in deductions? So people could be eligible for deductions, but might lose their right to vote if they took them? My point is, it seems like we'd be implementing a lot of complicated bureaucracy just to deny "welfare queens" the right to vote. I just can't take this proposition seriously. It strikes me as more of a t…

But with our current system, not all benefits are paid directly to the individual, so it would be practically impossible to calculate. Also, not all government resources are recieved voluntarily. For instance, if someone has eight children in public school, that puts a tremendous burden on the system. But they don't receive funding directly, the school does. Also, schooling is a legal requirement, so they don't have the option to decline those government resources. Even if you could calculate th…

I agree with most of what you're saying. But for instance, some folks here are advocating for a literal Plutocracy (a form of government that has been rejected by every single country in the modern world). A lot of the ideas being pitched here just haven't been thought out. They strike me as impulsive, knee-jerk statements.

I love the selectively edited video that's being shown on TV. It implies that they walked up and menacingly surrounded the guy with the drum. In reality, he approached them and walked into the middle of their group. Fake news at its finest.

That's fairly typical for that sub. The mods consistently remove posts that have even a whiff of redpill. I wouldn't be surprised if they started auto-banning people who post here (like so many other subs do).

Agreed. And it's really unfortunate that the Star Wars franchise is getting mired in political activism. They have the resources and the narrative foundation to tell some truly incredible stories. But instead, they've just created a money-machine that's fueled by nostalgia and pandering.

OP is kinda being a douche. Drinking wine doesn't make you an alcoholic and baking cookies doesn't make you a fatty. I assure you, there are plenty of dudes on this sub who enjoy both cookies and booze. There are so many legitimate issues in the realm of men's rights. Juvenile BS like this doesn't help anyone.

That sub is a shit show. They've built themselves a nice little echo chamber over there. I noticed I was banned too and the mods demanded that I "describe my political beliefs in 5-7 sentences". Needless to say, I'm not too keen on accepting homework assignments from neo-Marxists.

It sounds like you're on a good trajectory and free of entanglements. Now you're faced with the free man's dilemma: what will you spend your days doing? My solution is to just find some hobbies that keep you busy and maintain a lifestyle that minimizes your physical suffering. Then just keep doing that for about 70 years. I hate to say it, but the human condition is a "run out the clock" scenario.

I agree in that there were fewer "processed" foods back then, but the average diet still contained a lot of stuff that's considered unhealthy by today's standards. I'm thinking stuff like shepherd's pie, hearty stews, pastas, various preparations of potatoes, and all kinds of stuff that we now consider to be unhealthy "comfort food".

I don't think extinction via lack of reproduction is a realistic concern. Our global population continues to rise. And worse than that, population growth is accelerating. That represents a pretty serious problem for our species. If anything, MGTOW should be commended for helping mitigate this effect. And regarding presence in the gene pool, does it matter? Our ideas and values aren't passed through our genes; they're passed through our speech, writing, and actions.

You're 100% right about the swimming example. The reason the "nut" example is different is because your body is actually expelling a fluid. (Compare to exhaust gasses leaving a rocket nozzle). The wanking motion alone wouldn't do anything; you would only be propelled when the nut occurs.

I've been playing this game the last couple of days. Combat is decent and the graphics are gorgeous, but there does seem to be a "feminist" slant to it. It leads the player to believe that there were a ton of women fighting in the Peloponnesian War...

Libertarians can certainly go either way with this one; it's a complex and nuanced issue. Personally, i'm opposed to abortion, but I still think it should be legal. I don't think that my opinions/conclusions should be legislatively forced onto everyone else.

I don't think MGTOW necessarily means pro-life. Hell, I personally lean libertarian. Going your own way means having the freedom to make your own decisions. I don't want an authoritarian government telling me what's what.

Really the only concerning point is the "refuse to be non-violent" line. I don't think you actually go around committing acts of violence (otherwise you'd be in jail instead of on Reddit). I suspect that what we have here is a case of r/iamverybadass.

Not intimidating, no. Just unrelatable. Why would anyone (of either gender) want to associate with someone who says things like: I refuse to be sociable. I refuse to be funny. I refuse to be normal. I refuse to be sane. I refuse to be non-violent. That isn't "going your own way", it's psychopathic.

True, but MGTOW has always been more about supporting disenfranchised men, not roasting them. The whole "you'll never be able to compete with Chad, you might as well just die" attitude seems out of place here. That's more of an r/braincels thing. Ya know, where most of the content is just insults followed by "cope".

Pretty much. He said that he doesn't often smoke weed because it isn't good for productivity. The interesting question will be whether or not he loses his security clearance. I think I agree with you on this. Although, I've always wondered if he's just holding his tongue when it comes to criticisms of women. He's already lambasted for having a majority male audience. I saw this same thing after one of my buddies committed suicide. He was in a lot of pain (both physically and psychologically) and more than a few people said that he was selfish for taking his own life. I'm of the opinion that what's REALLY selfish is expecting another person to suffer through an excruciating existence, and then trash-talking them when they finally decide to punch-out.
/r/MGTOW06/09/18 06:04 PM
8

For the most part, I don't think ANYONE cares. A large chunk of our population thinks that suicide is a "sin" and that such people deserve to go to hell. Another large chunk thinks that suicide (and depression in general) are indicators of weakness, and just view suicide as a type of Darwinism.

/s, right? We should be willing to have conversations with people that don't agree with us. That's the only way things will ever get better. For instance, look at that documentary "The Red Pill". It only worked because MRAs were willing to have conversations with the ex-feminist director. If they had just told her to fuck off, the movie wouldn't exist.

It's sad that so many mods are using auto-ban scripts to exclude people who participate in discussions on "the wrong subs". They want to make certain that their subscribers aren't exposed to ideas that conflict with their ideology. They won't risk letting you speak if you've even had a single conversation with their opponents. Thank god they aren't in charge of anything important. History shows what happens when people like that are given political power.
