Plus cooking and cleaning wasn't as easy as it is now, just how farm life has improved with technology so has house work. Also working around the house all day, in pre modern technology era, with kids hanging off you and likely pregnant since no contraception sounds like a shit time. The idea that one gender had it easier than the other seems absurd. Pre modern life for anyone who wasn't upper class or a monarch was pretty shit all round.

Aussie here - 'man up' is a phrase used towords men and women. Same with 'grow some balls' and weirdly enough, when encouraging someone to drink (man or woman) people often say 'come on, put some hairs on your chest'. Possibly a lower-middle to lower class thing here though.

One of them even said she wasnt a feminist, and I cant see in the tweets where any of the women say they are feminists. You'd have to look in to every profile of every person that tweeted and in to the history of their tweets. Just to see if they have supported feminism. You can't just assume that someone who posts something shitty belongs to a certain ideology. I think all this proves is people are cunts.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
