Hmm maybe its cause i dont perceive mma as that brutal. To explain it sounds way worse to me getting shit-tested over and over again than getting say a blue eye from sparring. So in a way you could say pickup for me would be more brutal than mma.

Lots of changes in my life, im a relatively young fellow, 19, and just started living on my own. Got my first 40 hour job plus a lot of bjj practice makes it so i only have time for friends on weekends. (I leave the house at 7:30 and return at 21:45 during the week). I don't have any real female friends so i hardly meet girls in my freetime.

Ok so heres my two cents: im not succesful with women yet, however i think im on the right track. My filosophy is keeping myself busy, and to have one thing to look forward too everyday. That could be smoking a fattie, drink a beer, whatch your favourite show, whatever. For me, it's bjj practice. I think that this filosophy helped me a lot, cause you have to stop worrying so much and just enjoy the ride and have a good time, you know what im saying?

Aaaaaah na mate you are gonna do fine. What i found helps is start pursuing a new hobby, you meet a lot of new people there. If you are into martial arts, brasilian jiu jitsu would be a good pointer since people tend to be really friendly once you stick around. Keep that head up mate.
