This may sound terrible, but there are plenty of jokes I can think of where an animal is killed and it is funny. Plenty of people like dark humor. Here is a perfect case: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2ooQKiOe9c This comedian mentions he kills an panda in the middle of the sketch.

Being funny is actually like being seductive in many ways. Obviously, people can be funny or seductive by trying, but those who are the most successful are the ones who don't have to try. Thanks Chris, Following up on that, how do you internalize being confident and assertive/ going after what you want? I do act confident around her sometimes, it's just hard to do it all the time. Also, other times, I'm worried about coming off too aggressively. Also, if I do just man up, how long does it take to create butterflies? I know there is probably no good answer. I get impatient over this sort of this and over time, that dampens my self-confidence.
