Be specific and pick out details from their response, then share stories and relate to them or make a joke

You'll lose out on a percentage of women who are on the fence about you, or are the type to not initiate dates. By giving your number you're losing control because she might get busy and forget to text you or not care enough to put the effort in. Make it easier for her and yourself by getting her number.

List out activities or places that are interesting. Then schedule time in your calendar for you to go to those places, and force yourself to go no matter what.

You're allowed to just browse the chocolate section without buying it lol.. spark up conversation by saying "hey, you buying chocolate? I'm always overwhelmed with how many options there are" or whatever, then gauge her level of interest

Some ways to make a conversation more flirty: Tell her she's cute. Compliment something she's wearing. Talk about dating/relationships. Tease her jokingly and have good banter.

Talk to strangers everywhere you go: bars, gym, stores, parties. Be social and work on your charisma so that when you do meet a new person, you can establish a good vibe that would make them want to see you again. Make use of online resources (local reddits, bumble bff, meetup, Instagram) Find social hobbies (like board games, sports leagues). It's a mixed bag but try to cast a wide net and retain the people who have potential interest.

You don't know her or what she has going on in her life. Maybe she's talking to other guys, maybe she's busy with work, maybe her friends hit her up to hangout. Maybe she has second thoughts about meeting up with a stranger from Instagram.

Have an energetic and upbeat tone when you're speaking, like if you were talking to one of your good friends. Active listening. Pay attention to what they say, branch off and use tangents to create engaging conversation. Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm. People love good energy. Offer your world to the table. Talk about things you're passionate about such as hobbies, travel, life experiences. This makes conversations more memorable and fun.

Anyone asking this question is focusing on the wrong thing. Literally doesn't matter, if the interaction is going well. But you should be asking her on a date and if she agrees then she'll end up giving you her number.

Bars, gym, grocery store, parks, coffee shops, bookstores, local events, meetups. Go outside and be as social as you possibly can and give yourself more opportunities to meet people. Start by saying hi to people and asking how their day is going and you'll be surprised how many of them open up to you.

You just have to be very tactical and respectful. Invite her to an event you're hosting with friends or talk about a local restaurant with amazing food and say "if you're ever down to try it we should go sometime." Gage her interest. If she says no or doesn't seem enthusiastic you can leave it there without it being weird.

The irony of those commonly suggested methods of meeting women is that you still need to have game and approach to get attention from anyone and there's a limit to the amount of people you can meet. My friends don't have many attractive single friends. I've only managed to date 1 girl from going to 50+ meetups. At yoga/group exercise classes I've talked to women in passing but you still have to approach and lead an interaction. I'm introverted so I understand what you mean. Cold approaching is s…

You can leverage situations like this to make new friends and grow your social circle. Not every approach needs to be a "pickup"

Take a step back man. Stop worrying about seducing and just try sparking up some friendly conversation to get a feel if she's interested.

Go approach 100 girls and most likely you'll get at least 1 date and maybe a handful of potential female friends. Plus you met 100 more girls than the typical guy would.

Don't vent your past relationship frustrations. Do mention positive experiences with previous dates and partners if it's relevant and shows you in a good light

Be friendly. You kind of need to go the borderline platonic route. Build rapport over time after multiple encounters. If you have a good connection invite her to get food or do an activity.

If you're looking for a genuine connection, this is the way. Plenty of times I'd approach and then after some conversation I realize I'm not really that into the girl or we don't vibe. So I never like going up and being super direct. I still end up getting ghosted or rejected, but more often than not the girls I approach are happy that I talked to them.

More importantly, meeting new women is fun if you're doing it right. Even if you get rejected 100 times in a row, it should be exciting to go up and get to know another human being.

Situational openers are best. At the store ask about something she's looking at, doing, or wearing. At Starbucks ask what her favorite drink is or what she ordered.

This is great advice. I see a lot of dudes who say they're looking to date but have no friends, and this will solve their problems. Sometimes you approach a girl and the interaction goes really well, but she has a boyfriend. Most guys will accept this as a rejection and move on, but you could just be friends with her and invite her to social gatherings you host. Been having some good success with hosting board game nights and inviting the people I have approached or met at events.

You can just approach on campus during the day. Just find where the places are that people hangout like the quad or cafe

If the interaction went well then it doesn't matter. There's no real benefit except you may lose out on girls who are on the fence, or are shy and won't initiate a text with a random guy she just met. People always make a big deal about asking for vs giving out a phone number, but the focus should be on if you two have a good connection.

You didn't do anything wrong imo. A lot of the fit and attractive women already have boyfriends so a lot of the time, getting turned down has nothing to do with you.

It's not that great if it's your crutch for meeting women but it increases your chances. At 11pm on a random weeknight while I'm on the toilet, I'm not going out to meet anyone but can open an app and swipe/like for 10 minutes. I only get a date once every couple months on average but it's better than nothing.

Most women aren't going to give you any blatant signals, so if you're relying on that to get the green light to approach, good luck. Best to just approach anyways and feel out the vibe. Or accept that you'll miss out on majority of opportunities.

That just comes with practice. As you become more confident and better at conversations it'll start to feel natural. Actively listen to what they say and then respond with a question or statement about something that stood out to you. Incorporate your life experiences, feelings, and knowledge and conversations will start to become fun.

There's a difference between running up to every woman you see and being like "hey I thought you were cute, can I get your number" vs starting genuine conversations and gaging interest before asking someone out. If you're doing game right, nobody will know you're into PUA stuff.

Experiencing the same thing as you lately. Kind of have to accept this happens. It almost never had to do with your "text game" as you say the interactions went well. Keep in mind that even if an interaction went well, you don't know this girl. She might already be seeing someone, or maybe she wasn't that interested in you but gave the number anyways. A lot of the time the girl may have enjoyed the interaction and then decided to just leave it at that.

Comment on the surrounding or situation. Like in a coffee shop "hey do you know what's the best drink here?" or at a party "so how do you know the host?" Ask where she's from, tell her where you're from. If she says a cool location you can comment on how you love that city. Comment on something she's wearing like a cool watch, earrings, etc. Ask if she's ever been to any cool local events or venues. Ask if she's likes some hobbies you have, ideally that you can do together. "Hey do you like tenn…

Before you meet someone the only thing you have to offer is appearance. I have reluctantly approached girls that I thought were just average looking and after having good back and forth banter, experiencing their positive energy and good sense of humor, I was interested in going on a date with them. It works both ways. Being an interesting person makes you more attractive, whether you're a man or woman.

It's too oversaturated at this point so the swipe apps like bumble and tinder aren't as good as they were a few years ago. Women aren't going to spend hours a day swiping when half of the swipes result in a match. So a lot of the girls on there don't even see your profile.

The gym is not the best place to approach especially if you're inexperienced. But that doesn't mean never do it. There are some tips you can follow: Don't blatantly hit on her (i.e. telling her you thought she was hot/cute). Lean on the side of platonic honestly. Don't try to talk to her while she's doing a set. The window to approach is while she's resting or walking out of the gym/waiting in the lobby. If you see her using a machine like the leg press or something, you can ask to work in. Then…
