I think you forgot the most important muscle you need to workout, your brain. To you its gambling because you prob haven’t been successful, but you absolutely can make a killing trading if you understand what your doing. Person A decides to throw their money at something they have a small grasp on and they either win or lose. Person B can research and use his years of experience to know a good trade from a shit one. All it takes is learning my friend.

Nope, i got free college from it and saw some cool places and that is the positive.but i didnt realize how shit it would be. I am a person who likes freedom individually and i joined and hated every second of it, i wasnt the right fit. Some people like the structure it gives their life but to me it felt more like being in jail. You have to have the right mindset to enjoy it.

Be careful making a huge decision like that, from someone who served i can tell you the grass is nit always greener on the other side. It is pretty hard to save money in the military, your pay is really shit and the money ends up getting spended on a lot of little things most of us dont care about. I would not join just for the hell of it or to get out of a bad situation, that is what i did and it ended up making life more stressful. Unless you actually want to serve and have a passion for that …
