There's nothing wrong with being inexperienced or celibate. People's sex lives, in an ideal world, should be based on their feelings and decisions. But if they do happen to be incels, and their viewpoints on life, sex, and gender are horrifying and potentially violent, that's a whole other issue. Celibacy doesn't automatically equal misogyny.

Do you guys think rape is a myth, or something?!

Or in the actual words, sex better be consensual or its rape. Why is treating rape as an actually serious violent crime a threatening concept? And the birth rate thing, what are you saying; only rapists are getting women pregnant?!

Great article. Its hard not let people get in your head even if you know their shaming you for not 'doing what you're supposed to do' is often just making conversation. They assume we're unhappily single and "You'll find the right person, you'll see" will be a benignly comforting thing to say. Their comments ultimately fall under the "If you wouldn't take someone's advice, don't listen to their criticism"

No monkeys actually groom their partners after consensual sex. But its not a gendered behavior, both sexes do it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
