Fathers are being excluded by kids schools! You should ask the tired teachers actually. My friends are who are teachers are exhausted at the end of the day and are still evaluating students work and planning for next days. If I were them, calling 2 people which isn’t my job would be least important esp when the salary is offsetting cost of living. They may do it as a favor if you are very close but I can’t imagine anyone wanting to do more work while they stretch 9-11 hours. And this is for teachers who don’t take on additional responsibi… | /r/MensRights | 28/07/23 03:03 AM
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools!Let me ask you a question : what is the stats on one of the parent harming the child in a custody battle ? Whose responsibility is it to protect the child when one of the parent don’t have custody cos they are mentally unstable ? Should the school blindly send information to everybody and be a target when the child gets hurt ? | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 04:46 PM
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools!State, local and district level boards :) ahhh not the answer you hoped for | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 04:24 PM
Is Patriarchy real?Where did I say women should stay home ? I don’t know how you concluded that ! I meant if you give birth you are physically exhausted and you need time off. Your babies food is from your body and anxiety to leave the baby is high. The birth giver produce harmones that way. You are noble man if you want to look after your child. I know men in my country who want to wash away their responsibility as father and only fight for it when it leads to divorce. One of my close friend worked even during pa… | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 02:18 PM
Is Patriarchy real? Please give birth and you will be eligible for the same number of parental leaves 😅 women didn’t create that. FYI. In fact men created it at workplace. For a longtime Women were let go cos of pregnancy as they were considered a burden. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 01:57 PM
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools! You really don’t know how schools work then. The staff is underpaid and teachers are working overtime. The last thing they want is take your extra burden because you reproduced with someone you cannot communicate with. Lol. You make terrible decisions and blame schools to fix your problems! Wonderful! | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 01:50 PM
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools! That is a different issue altogether. It’s not on schools. And the custody is given so because of historical. I know of incidents where men have won the custody. Everything takes time. But it doesn’t mean schools have agenda about it | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 01:48 PM
| -4 | Fathers are being excluded by kids schools! Not really. Someone shared that stats here that 90% of the custody goes to women. With that in mind, 10% dont get custody. Unless those 10% are also getting information, you dont have your facts right. They are sending information to primary carer. The same holds good for same gender parents. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 07:34 AM |
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools!Exactly this. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 06:28 AM
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools!I agree to this but saying it is based on gender and hating school is baseless. They want to send information to primary carer. So fight for that. I dont get how is the school pushing "feminist" agenda for them taking a short cut on how they want to get things done. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 06:27 AM
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools! What are you even talking about? School has obligation to inform primary carer. They dont care if it is a man or woman. The same goes if a woman is not the primary carer. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 06:22 AM
Fathers are being excluded by kids schools! That is sad. Is the law - inform mothers or inform primary carer? As long as there is no legal battle between parents both should get information about the child irrespective of the primary carer. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 06:20 AM
Is Patriarchy real?I agree with you. I have seen a few cases where women after divorce are enjoying a chilled life while they can get a job. The problem is Indian men think they are on the same place and push the "radical feminist" idea which is dangerous for both men and women. I don't know how we will ever find middle ground for humanity. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 05:15 AM
Is Patriarchy real?OP was asking about India. So I thought it was a generalized statement. In the west I see opportunities and more equality. In the east there is still dowry, child marriage and men asking their women to stay at home. And then they cry about 50% in divorce. I work in tech and I was rejected for a job because I quote "Working late is a lot to handle for women". Unless we all work together this gap will continue - and someone will be a victim. Man or a woman (and other genders) | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 04:55 AM
Is Patriarchy real?Since you are from India, my friend took 1 crore dowry and asked his wife to quit his job. You complain about inequality while men themselves want inequality. And then complain why 50% is given away after divorce!! If men want equality, dont take dowry. Dont force your wife to quit job. if you decide to raise a family together where you both agree for the wife to quit the job and raise the child then be ready when she demands for that 50%. You cannot have cake and eat it too. It is far different… | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 04:48 AM
Is Patriarchy real?Maybe it was a patriarchy 200 years ago. It’s definitely not anymore. 200 years ? What ? There is certainly more equality in the west. Idk which country you are from. In my country dowry and child marriage of girls is still common. I am all for men's rights but dont exonerate terrible people to prove your point. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 04:40 AM
Is Patriarchy real?Depends what you call patriarchy. If you think what is happening in Iraq is right, or in India where people consider giving up on girl child because they are forced to give dowry is right, then no patriarchy does not exist. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/23 04:36 AM
