Most definitely. People actually used to prosecute uglier folks for crimes they had nothing to do with back in the 1800’s as being ugly was seen as a symptom of an evil soul and vice versa with attractive people. Appearance had a fair amount to do with the justice system, particularly in Britain where criminals also were distinguished from the innocent by the appearance of their hands. Not that far a stretch to have some beauty bias in court today.
