Ok, don't downvote me to hell, and know that I am a firm advocate for men's rights...but I have a perspective on this as a woman who has "defected". We are taught/learned from a young age that we are sexualized beings. I'm not going to go into the society or the standards or mindsets that makes this a reality, just know that it is. A glimpse of cleavage, too much thigh showing, a tight dress that shows all the curves; these are things we are told that drive men crazy and make them want us sexual…

Yet another "sex romp" and "illicit affair", because the RAPIST has a vagina. Note: I also have a vagina, but do not engage in romps, affairs, or fucking rape.

I have seen this poster, and I loathe it.

Exactly. The media will expound upon 25% of homeless people are women, those poor women, we need more shelters for women!....and forget the other half of that statistic...75% of homeless are male!! That seems like it should be the bigger crisis. (Don't quote my stat, working from memory...)

My current SO pointed out the cognitive dissonance to me when we got together almost 4 years ago. I really had to do some soul searching, and re-thinking my stances on feminism. I am today continually shocked and saddened by what men have to face in today's society. It's not equality AT ALL. We ALL have to work together to make changes.

This is why, in most states, a father actually CANNOT sign his rights away, even if the parents agree, and not be held financially responsible. As soon as the mother applies for any assistance program, they will ask for the father's information as well.

I've had a friend like this. I've termed them "black holes". No matter how much time/energy/money you throw at him, it won't help. It sucks, I'm sorry, me perhaps a very stern talk would help...but sometimes people just stand in their own way. ☹️ Help him as much as you can without being detrimental to yourself, but at some point he's gonna need to learn to adult on his own. That's the best thing you can do. Stop enabling.

Implied consent is absolutely a thing. Sorry. In some relationships, yes... implied consent exists. Unless I explicitly to tell my SO "I do not want sex tonight", then he understands that even at 3am, he is allowed to stimulate me and go to town. THAT is implied consent. Now, granted, some relationships might not use or understand this dynamic...but to say implied consent doesn't exist is asinine.

My SO does this..I'm sleept, and not really "with it." Generally I wake up right after the point of penetration, and I am ALL ABOUT IT. but, granted, our relationship may not be everyone else's. FTR, I've "sleep-raped" him as well. ,🤷

You are correct. I won't edit my comment, bc I still feel that shit in my soul. FWIW, I am a woman, and crap like this post infuriate me to boiling point. Using language like "bitch" is definitely inflammatory, but my God, this shit is ridiculous, and at times I am ashamed to be a woman .

And then feminists wonder why men in the workplace won't do one-on-one meetings or work trips, etc. BECAUSE THIS, BITCH!!!

From what I understand, yes a man can sign away his parental rights, but not the financial. Even if the mother "doesn't pursue" child support, the State will typically require it of him, bc otherwise she will more likely be a drain on state resources in the form of welfare, WIC, SNAP, etc. So, the State considers the financial well-being of the child and the resources available; and if there's any chance she will need supplemental income to care for the child, the man will be required to pay. 🤷

While I agree with you in theory, I am focusing on the "rape" statistic; i.e., delineation between female and male victims. Because historically, male rape victims are absolutely not counted as victims at all. While most of us are at least somewhat cognizant of the fact that most deaths in wartime/civil unrest are male, I find it to be a huge step forward to at least recognize that men not only die, but are raped and brutalized as well. However, your point is well taken, sir; I do not dispute th…

Can we make this a thing? Recognizing men as victims as well, please?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
