Was it tape, or theft of sorts?

Some people care about issues without an expectation of reciprocation. Although clearly it’s all for SOMETHING, just not the reciprocation necessarily.

Because we all know women spend just as much time with bears as they do men…. Math checks out.

Most of us obviously don’t hate half of humans. That’s half of our important family members and colleagues. A lot of the issues are just about average men being crapped on (just for being men) and it going unnoticed in the public eye.

Yeah I mean consent is verbal (or other qualifying categories, with a minimum age too), but not just biological.

I will add that even MORE women think it’s wrong for women to cheat by 3%.

Who are all these 47% of dudes saying it’s ok for women to cheat. Are a lot of them the same dudes banging those women?!

I feel the trans movement has a traditionalist side that might ironically be making things hard for you, despite claims of openness and acceptance. It’s almost like you have to actually be gay or transwoman to have a lot of feminine qualities without judgment. While I don’t think cis-gendered men have an overall “oppression” given the positions we can more easily attain: I still think society wants them to “man up and give us your efforts and quiet sacrifices.”

I mean the government gets involved with new humans, they get social security numbers, write down who the are parents are, so: why wouldn’t paternity tests be a standard requirement anyway?

Oral sex is sex. Anal sex is sex. An orifice and genitalia rubbing against each other, where vaginas are considered both. Sex. I think most people would agree. I’m not sure how PIV changes anything though.

The fact that they’re minors is the huge issue here. Yet, to encourage vasectomies with backup sperm stored… actually not a bad idea in terms of mens rights, given the nightmare of some child support and alimony laws, being trapped by lying women about their birth control, etc.

Good points! Although with regard to trauma one could say exactly the same of women. I’ll grant, however, that less experiences is often a virtue among women in dating and perhaps a “turnoff” among men (though I don’t have women’s opinion/stats to prove)

I thought it started by “incels” themselves, if I recall. Using quotes in case the word is offensive to casually throw out there. As a side note, there are only a small percentage of people whose virginity (or lack of sex for a long period, if so defined) is truly involuntary. I think many people might just not be addressing that they perhaps are picky, OR that they have an emotional value in finding the right one, which they haven’t realized or articulated (nothing wrong with that aspect as a c…

It’s a loose term, so I do understand what you mean by “respect is earned.” I think the original phrase is more about:respect women’s rights

“These are gynocentric solutions being presented as universal solutions.” Well stated, something to look out for. Still, I’m not too sure about the tax thing... Wouldn’t they just stop taxing married couples with combined income (and treat each person separately), in order to encourage the stay at home women to go get a taxable job? Or are you suggesting only conservatives are fighting to keep the taxes lower for such couples?

I should clarify that in the last paragraph of my original post, when I said “they’re trying to redefine...” I meant that article, not necessarily all of r/MensLib. Still, opinions about MensLib broadly are welcome too.

Yeah I’m not waiting on others to help first, but it’s a valid point. Still, I think what some people here have mentioned is that their goals seem good but the execution maybe doesn’t align with what they stated.

Perhaps you have a good point about “real issues.” You’re definitely right that they don’t seem to address false allegations much. They ought to (if they want to live up to their creed) also offer support for things like prostate cancer or other mostly-male ailments.

Yeah I hear you... I guess I sometimes see stuff there that is tame and actually seems fair, like allowing boys/men to express feelings, not be ostracized if they have interests that lean feminine, etc.

It wasn’t even a case about her either right? Not directly... they’re hamming this up so much

Many women are indeed like that, but then again so are men! (Perhaps not looking for the same type of dysfunction, but it’s still present). I think many people have bad habits and an aversion to “healthy and upright” for various reasons. Think about our diets, where we want some rich and gratifying food over the sensible vegetables. Hopefully, we can all learn from the fallout from too much of the unhealthy and lean toward mutually loving, respectful relationships. As a side note, I do think tha…

Yeah I’m not dating (married) but when I did browse dating sites long ago, I liked seeing women with photos from various places but no specific mention of it in her profile.

True, although if she happens to pay for it herself, it might be nice for a young guy to find such a woman, as maybe it means she’s not in a rush to settle down with kids (so less pressure on the guy to do so if he wants an adventurous 20s)

To be fair, traveling has the potential to provide experiences which may add to a someone’s personality or could at least give her something to share. We all know there are some wealthy women who stay put and can’t sit through a flight... I’ll give the travelers credit for scheduling things and being on time for flights/reservations etc.

Yeah my feelings are: I don’t hold it against someone whose parents can and want to pay for that, nor do I mind the touristy hotel thing, but they shouldn’t brag about it or look down on those who never found time or money to travel a lot.

I’m not sure... if someone saw any person’s worst moments early on, they’d be wise to just leave, not taking chances on a person who might be habitually cruel or unstable. However, if I had one bad moment after a year of relationship, and a woman left me for it, I’d probably feel some resentment (especially if I had accepted her comparable worst moments). Either way, everyone has a right to leave...

Not to mention that the “glass ceiling” is a different issue right, because those jobs are not the same type of work...

But nothing in OP’s comment said he wanted a submissive, non-career woman. I’d actually guess he wants exactly the opposite.

What’s the difference between caring about a person’s mind opportunistically and their body opportunistically if both are parasitic? Same question if both are mutualistic/beneficial?

The simple answer is, the world is populated enough, and 30% of people being in relationships- presumably healthy ones- is a good number.

I don’t think those efforts are such a bad thing when it’s a conscious decision. However, I think it becomes ironically off-putting to the opposite sex when women who started off wanting male attention end up spending so much time and energy on their makeup and wardrobe (even when a man they’ve already “landed” gets annoyed by that tendency). She becomes more interested in vanity and competition with other women and it’s a turnoff. Similarly a guy might start off wanting riches and displays of s…

True, but I think the bigger point is that she's saying she'd have gone even farther as a man (which I'd have to disagree with, at least in Western society).

So to these people: when a respected white man says something you agree with, no more quoting him allowed.
