That’s true but maybe if someone objective, with outsider’s perspective talks to her, she may see that this isn’t right.

Girl I’ve got a solution for you: divorce! You are a person, an actual human being and you deserve way better then this. If you by any chance see this comment, please leave this piece of garbage. Porn addiction or not, he is a terrible person who doesn’t care about you in the slightest.

I read this post. She should take that child and ruuuuuun from that family as far as she can. They are not normal, or at the very least they didn’t process their grief. Either way, this isn’t healthy.

Exactly like what is this, 1952? She is having so much trouble getting her words out and making her point that it seems like deep down, way down inside, even she doesn’t believe what she’s saying.

On one hand yes, but also historically Russian soldiers’ “beloved” war crime on women is rape.

As, what some men online refer to, as “pure blood” Slavic woman, I am disgusted and offended on both our behalf. We are not a fetish, we are not the good submissive wife stereotype society/media makes us out to be. Honestly? I would tell her to fuck right off. No politeness, no shortcuts. Plain and simple: fuck off with this shit. She is not your friend, she is literally pimping you out like some breeding cow and she is fetishising you. It’s disgusting and not something a true friend would do.

Because pixels are easily accessible, literally at the touch of a button and a couple clicks, where as if they were to get with a woman, they’d have to get cleaned and groomed, dressed in clean clothes, take care of themselves and earn any sort of intimacy by earning trust and trying. Laziness is the word.

WTF is it with the society’s believe that a woman has to have a man at her side? This lady’s family telling her she can’t do any better? I’m sorry, 1950s are ringing, they want their stupid beliefs back! If I were in her situation and my family said something like this to me, I would NEVER speak to them again. How can you claim to be some of the closest people to me in the world and, at the same time, try to inflict misery on me by having me stay with a cheating bastard who most likely would be …

“For the benefit of the society” - EXCUSE ME? My body does not exist for the benefit of the society. I don’t exist for the benefit of the society. Society can kiss my fat ass with their expectations and benefits they expect me to provide!

I can’t even read the whole thing, this brings back so many traumatic memories. When I was bullied in primary school by a boy (whom I was twice the size of because I was very tall and this, amongst other things, was the reason for my bullying, along the fact that I am from a minority in this country (not POC but an ethnic minority) and the fact that I was growing up faster than other kids), my parents were told that if I’m being bullied I’m the problem and that I should change schools to not agg…

I am so glad I’m not the only one who noticed this - the more experienced players seemed to just go PUFF and disappeared into thin air when it came to penalties and left very young guys, some of them literal kids, with the extreme burden of dealing with angry mob, were they to loose the penalty kicks. Seems very shady and slimy to me, especially now that nobody is mad at Southgate, nobody is mad at Kane, Shaw, any other white/white passing person associated with the English team. The only people…

My friend was returning home via central London last night with his boyfriend. His bf is unharmed but my friend ended up having a bottle smashed on his head. One huge concussion and 4 stitches later, he has learned the hard lesson of not leaving one’s house when England are playing. I live in Manchester, England and I dread not only how this will affect our country pandemic-wise but also how many woman got beat up last night because their boys didn’t win the game. Want to know the biggest hypocr…

He is just the top of the iceberg in the shit storm British media made because of Meghan. She is such a nice, caring woman, reminds me a lot of Diana (if she doesn’t do that for you that’s fine but watch 1995’s Diana interview and you’ll understand) and what they did to her in the media was atrocious! Also, there is no way a woman like her would even consider going on a date with a toad like Piers Morgan.

I feel like passing on your name as a mother is so significant, much more than a man passing on his name. I, for one, don’t see myself having children, but if I did, I would demand either hyphenation of names or that children have only my last name. It may not make sense to a lot of people but big shit and big history stands behind that name. My family survived concentration camps during World War II, my name raised a child in her own in wartime Poland while her husband, my grandad, was in Ausch…

I read this and I feel so lucky for my mum. She has MS and the best, most HV husband in my dad she could’ve imagined in her circumstances. He loves her so unconditionally that he doesn’t even care if she loses bowel control sometimes - he just cleans up and tells her he loves her no matter what. He cooks, he cleans, he does everything normally assigned to a woman by our society and he doesn’t even care. She’s his wife, he loves her and that’s all there is to it for him. I sometimes remind her ho…

The other thing that I think must be noted here is how uneducated and ignorant these men are. They may have degrees, money, decent jobs but still they are so ignorant and so uneducated/uncultured that they don’t even for a second consider that a woman - or especially a foreign woman who still needs to learn the language, get her life in order in the new country, jump through idiotic immigration hoops to stay in that country - could be smarter than him and have already a plan in place to use him,…

Fifteen years. Fifteen years my mother was told she was being crazy, that she was a hypochondriac, that she was making things up, that she was being over paranoid because she is a nurse. She got her diagnosis 5 years ago - it’s multiple sclerosis. Now she’s wheelchair bound, suffering from blood clots, immobile. Fuck (some) men in medicine.

Of course - it’s just whenever I would say I’m against sex work, somebody would go “stop it, it’s their choice, a valid career choice” which would make me feel like I wasn’t good enough of a feminist because I’m against sex work, I think it’s degrading and dehumanising.

Oh my. Thank you for posting this - being against sex work made me feel like a bad feminist. It’s so good to be able to put into words why it’s wrong.

Oh my god this reminds of a girl I used to friends with, she was 15 when this 27 year old started hitting on her and they were in a “relationship”. Me and my parents tried to explain to her that it’s not normal or healthy for a man to be interested in a child but she wouldn’t listen. Eventually they broke up but she ended up getting with some other guy who was 10 years older than her at 17 and having his baby. Bloody awful.

I was 14 when I got cat called for the first time in my life. It was a hot ass summer and I was wearing shorts - some roadside workers I was passing thought it was appropriate to shout obscenities at a 14 year old. Ugh.

Reading this makes me so damn happy I have the parents that I have. They always taught me to be strong, independent, fight for myself and never, so to speak, “keep my mouth shut and be a good girl”. I don’t mean for this to be some sort of brag, just kind of appreciation post, if you will. I especially appreciate my dad, who was raised during WW2 and in a very different time to what we have now. It’s amazing what sort of impact parents have on you. Because of the way my parents raised me, all th…

I work with a guy who’s almost 30 and he still brings jars of food that his mother prepared for him (from his family home). And his family lives on the other side of the country!

Hahaha, what about no? I was raised to be proud of my last name and my family heritage. If I ever get married, I must keep my last name as there is only so many of my family left (many of my family were murdered during WW2 in concentration camps, so I know it might not make sense to an average person but I am proud of my family, what they survived and how they fought for their country, if anyone’s interested I can explain in more detail why this particular reason is the most important one for me…
