Sorry man. As others have said.. get an attorney, cover your ass from and false domestic violence charges, get a strategy on an exit plan. Probably pretty hard to take the emotions out of it but for the sake of your son and your future you need to be all business regarding this situation.

She told you that you will be the one to pay off her debt. Gtfo. What future debt of hers will you also be paying? Mortgage, retirement, travel, credit cards, the list goes on. And there is no guarantee she keeps working.

Hey man. Like others have said, you will file in the state in which you married. I would look up a divorce attorney as well from that state for further details. Word of caution- military chain of commands and JAGs are not necessarily your friends in this situation. So proceed with caution. Additionally, Find a solid senior enlisted member / members who can give you advice and help point you in the right direction.

Divorce is an all to common fact these days and impacts all people from all walks of life. Be an example to the church in how to handle such a devastating situation with integrity, leadership, and forgiveness.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
