Men's Rights was an idea that began in the seventies. Some people saw it as an anti-feminism (to take away woman's rights) and some see it as the more moderate version of trying to improve conditions for men and boys that you (usually) see today. But by your same logic, when the term 'Feminism' was founded it wasn't on the radar for most people either, so it also made sense to differentiate in that respect.

Well, in my nation we tend to have a much older turnout, which means women who live longer by nature, tend to boost the voting records. Otherwise it is about 50:50. Also, pretty much everything except dentistry is covered by the government. There doesn't seem to be any exceptions based in gender that are at all noteworthy. This implies that feminism and feminists are mutually exclusive with misandry, which I sincerely doubt.

Men DO kill themselves more often than women do, but they don't have mental illness as often as women do. Men's mental illness usually goes undiagnosed or untreated, and historically they've had higher suicide success rates, while women have higher suicide attempt rates. Was it a murder-suicide, or did the infants perish when a single mother killed themselves and went without food? Which was why I was pointing out historically there have been some matriarchal societies. Even though it's unusual, there have been societies and still is at least one society where women are the dominant and political leadership roles because their culture dictates it. There's been evidence of many more historical ones, and a government responsible for feminism doesn't seem likely in most societies, nonetheless when agriculture and livestock raising were still in their infancy.

I agree with your statements about tests and their validity/verity, but morally disagree with sleeping with somebody who can have no way to know you live a promiscuous lifestyle without telling them--especially if the sex is unsafe. I actually acknowledged the tests don't work 100%, nor can you get tested for everything later. The main focus of my argument was that he should inform future partners in any way possible so they can make an informed judgement. AIDS/HIV is almost impossible to counteract the spread of without staying abstinent/monogamous and using protection 100% of the time--even if the risk of transfer is very slim. I was mostly thinking of Gonorrhea during that post because of this argument :P
