I’m not going to tell you to leave him because it doesn’t sound like he’s that deep into it. But if it does worsen then maybe it’s something to consider. I’m not sure debating is the best way to get him to change his views, and I can’t really speak for how you both should communicate these topics, but I do think the reason why the redpill movement became so prominent, is that when it comes to the toxic aspects of dating and relationships, in the heteronormative sense, men got fed up with feeling…

Why would you post this?

I mean yea, women have feelings?. I’m not sure what your experience with women are, but unfortunately it’s easy to have negative experiences with the opposite sex then generalize that as being representative of the whole group. Women generally are more empathetic than men and that comes with a lot of introspection. Yea there’s gonna be women that use men, but it’s the same vice versa.

It boggles my mind how TRP requires women to not have baggage as if they don’t have any themselves.

Let’s hold women accountable and refuse to hold ourselves accountable. These guys refuse to see women as complex human being and don’t really have much emotional intelligence. It’s so blatantly hypocritical how it’s ok for men to sleep around but not the women.

Personally i find “damaged goods” to be a bit dehumanizing. There’s nothing wrong with preferring not to date single moms, it comes with a lot of challenges that some may not want to deal with, and that’s understandable. It’s also true that just because they’re a parent doesn’t mean that they’re stable and mature enough to be one. Something I’ve noticed about TRP is the notion of holding women accountable for their actions, and in their eyes, single moms represent poor decision making on their p…

The problem with this is that women aren’t a one size fits all type of thing. It varies as to want they find attractive and what they don’t find attractive. Most people realize that what they fantasize about is not always going to be obtained in real life. Some women may find what goes on in 50 shades of grey to be hot, but understand that not every guy is gonna be Christian grey. I think this is where empathy and honesty come into play, and, generally speaking, a lot of the guys that I know who…

Thank you. It’s something I think about constantly. I really don’t want to hurt her, she’s been through enough of that. I don’t know if it’s a burning desire, but I’ve always imagined myself being a dad when I was young so there’s that. I just hear so many negatives with dating single parents, so this post was mainly to hear others success stories. Red pill logic does have a way of eating at you if your not careful, but I disagree with a lot of its rhetoric, even when I stumbled upon it. I just …

That’s good to hear and congrats on 21 years. I hope that with her things can work out like that. I’ve falling for her quite hard, but I’m a bit guarded about expressing that bc of circumstances. We get along quite well when do see each other. I’ve also learned quite a bit about what women go through during pregnancy so it’s been interesting to say the least.

This is my thinking also. He’s out of the picture and I would wanna build something with her first before jumping into that role. I don’t mind kids I actually like them. I’m pretty patient and laid back about things. She had to move back in with her grandparents so that says to me that she’s trying to make sure her baby has a good support system. Her baby is about 2 weeks old rn so it’ll be sometime bc she has to recover and get used to her kid so a lot of this will be up to her as to when and w…

Yea “darkly lucky” I suppose. She had to move back in with her grandparents bc of that whole ordeal. She’s always wanted to have kids though and I don’t really mind kids (I’m pretty patient and laid back about a lot of things). I think the fact that she moved back in with her grandparents (the way she talks about them, they seem like good people) is really good because then she has a good support system. It just sucks that it had to happen like that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
