The law is applied evenly, regardless of whatever one's personal beliefs are. If the law says a fetus is just a part of the woman's body and not a person until after the 23rd or whatever week, then anyone who kills that fetus before the point of humanity should not be guilty of murder...because according to the law what they killed wasn't actually a person.

I don't think there's a minimum qualification on assault- technically a slap or shove qualifies. But if the fetus is considered not a person but a part of her body, then harming it is harming the woman. Whatever law would apply to forcing any other drug into her would apply there.

The whole double-standard needs to stop though. If something's a human being then it has the right to life and nobody, including the mother, can legally take it away. If that doesn't happen until 23 weeks or whenever, fine- but don't have it start at conception for other people. If a woman is pregnant and she can legally kill the baby, someone who kills the woman only committed one murder, not two.

No. Mods can ban people from their own subreddits. Shadowbans are done by the admins and is site-wide: your future comments/votes appear visible to you but nobody else sees them (mods of a SR your comment in can see it in their spam filters). Your account page is un-viewable so nobody else can see your post history.
