1	Wife doesn’t want to be married anymore. She suggested we move into a multi family unit after I said I’d move out in a few months. Mine pranced around the house for two months saying, "I'm not leaving until I get my check!!" She fucked around in mediation for 3 months, and then I had to file. 2	Can you intentionally gamble away a few hundred grand before divorce in the stocks market so no one gets anything? It's going to vary from state to state and possibly judge to judge in a single jurisdiction. I am on the opposite side of this hypothetical, where my soon to be ex has a significant money problem. $60k in debt, with at least $41k and possibly up to $70k blown through in the previous 3 years. I had to talk to a few different attorneys while she dicked around in mediation to find a venue and a judge who is willing to count gambling losses against an estate.
