| 6 | I’m a good husband, but she has unrealistically high expectations of me.My net worth was approx 500k prior to my divorce. I didn’t leave out of fear of loosing what I had built. I woke up one day and realized she was driving me into an early grave. I would have accepted this, but she bitched constantly and sucked out my life force. I live simply, but no one is starting fights all the time. I am at peace. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/10/21 04:19 AM |
| 5 | I’m a good husband, but she has unrealistically high expectations of me.You are doing too much. Divorce her and cut the check. Plan it out first though. I was in a VERY similar situation. I left my life sucker ex and have never been happier. Yes I pay her a fat check every month, but my soul isn’t being sucked out every day. Send the message and file for divorce. If it wakes her up, give her another chance. If it doesn’t, let her roll around in her own misery without trying to make you share it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/10/21 04:11 AM |
| 4 | How do you know it’s over and not worth the fight? If it’s hard work just to love the other person, it’s over. If you have intense fights frequently over a long period of time, it’s over. When you have the same damn talks over and over and nothing changes, it’s over. If you are miserable, you can be miserable without her…but the odds of finding happiness will increase dramatically. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/09/21 09:36 PM |
