how do I get into this? A fuck ton of networking. I did some internships during college in corporate finance on Wall St and I took the time and effort to network my ass off there. Consulting firms usually administer case interviews so I did a lot of prep for that. The consulting firm I ended up getting an offer from was a boutique firm in the NYC area that put me through 3 rounds of interviews. Man was that brutal. What sorts of degrees/experience do you have? Graduated around 3 years ago with a…

what does a strategy consultant do? what sorts of things do you help them in? Mostly formulating high-level solutions to help facilitate a particular set of business processes for the client. My work has ranged from Supply Chain Management to Financial Advisory. It doesn't require all that much brainpower really, since many consulting firms have established methodologies to make it as foolproof as possible, but it's mostly about convincing the client that your approach to the problem is indeed t…

I've actually used a little bit of PUA concepts at my job (I am a strategy consultant so I engage frequently with clients). Since I've started applying it, I've noticed that I've been able to build stronger relationships with clients and executives. Hey man. Just out of curiosity, where in India are you located? I think a lot of people are completely overlooking the idea that you're in India, and are giving you advice based on the Western Culture here in the USA, Canada, etc. I know TofuTofu is successfully seducing his way through all of Japan, but game in India is a different animal. I was born and raised in India (spent around 7 years there with frequent visits every now and then). The one thing I've observed is that Indian women are lik…

rooshv sort of has a point, but for the wrong reasons. I don't believe girls will get fatter - they will always take care of themselves. However, in the USA at least, widespread advances in technology combined with a general dumbing down of media and pop culture could potentially create a predicament where the girls behave essentially as rooshv described - ultra selective and uber flaky. The depressed economy doesn't help things as well. However, I don't think it will have a doomsday sort of eff…
