Understood. The multiple colors is to what I was referring.

talk to a lawyer and figure out what you’re in for if (when) she files. Shit, if he can get her to pick up a couple more jobs, maybe she'll be paying him!

Great point. Sidenote: Is there a Chrome extension, or similar, that you used for this? Looks very handy on the right situation.

My reason for that is wastage of clean ground water, not financial. Then go piss outside. Two birds, one stone.

No matter what, a woman is never happy YOU can never make a woman happy. FTFY. So stop trying. Instead, make yourself happy.

The problem with the OP's approach, is that it is fundamentally wrong on an environmental and biological level. Male friends and female sexual partners are different and expecting to treat them both the same and elicit the desired responses is idiotic. Yep. OP is basically using "same" as a slang term. A more descriptive and accurate term would be "equal, but different". IOW, "don't put pussy on a pedestal".

Of course they do, but they can't do it on merits alone. Enter "equity".

Highlighting the contradictory language of these people is a complete waste of time. Amen. It's not that they're unaware of their hypocrisy, and will be shamed by it. It's just that they don't care. Power at any cost.

Picking up girls is like playing poker. You can do everything right to have the odds in your favor, and you still lose. But preparation and abundance mentality both put you in the best position to succeed and the mental mindset to be outcome independent.

That's far from the only thing. I just highlighted that because of the context.

How are you handling being a single dad for half the time, how does it affect work etc.? Ability to date? It's a struggle, but I'm making it. When she's here, she's #1 priority over anything else. Work is pretty solid. I have a great boss and flexible schedule. Dating isn't going great, but there's lots of reasons for that. Just trying to improve myself right now, and be better for it when things open back up.

Jesus politics are even now effecting relationships. Not gonna lie here, but seriously why does everyone take politics seriously like a majority of them aint even effecting you besides taxes. Oversimplification. Politics is downstream from culture. OP is lucky. Before I discovered RP, I was stupid enough, as a Christian, to marry a nonbeliever. I had the foresight to stipulate that we would raise our kids Christian, to which she agreed. I thought I could overcome our differences. 5 years later, …

Term of employment for me. All on me, but I'm not currently in a position to be a martyr.

I usually go with the quick wink, instead of a nod, especially if it's as OP described, and you're having a "staring contest" with her. It breaks up the monotony of the gaze.

The bank vs restaurant analogy is new one for me. Same. There was something similar posted the other day. Paraphrasing: When a woman receives a benefit, that's her new baseline.

Push/Pull is one of the few things early PUA community got right, along with outcome independence. Serious question: what didn't they get right?

That’s actually not how it’s supposed to be. It’s only that way when you use her for sex. I mean think about it she lives with her parents. Obviously she’s dependent on OP because her life would be miserable with out him. Two things: That actually IS how it's supposed to be. Before mUh fEmInIsM, girls/women lived with their parents until they were married. In a stable, traditional, nuclear family setting, living with your parents isn't "miserable". But I don't blame you totally. Because I rememb…

I agree, I'm quiet as well, and the non-answers work for me. Where I struggle, however, is approaching. Being a quiet guy, (part of it stems from social anxiety, which I have to work on) it's a task to initiate a cold conversation.

As a 40 year old newbie, I will say I've discovered you do have to be a little more forward with them. Most 20ish girls don't pick up on sarcasm, tongue in cheek, or double entendre comments.

Thanks for the inspiration, looking forward to this. 40 yr old here in divorce proceedings now, living and working in a college town. Working out, losing weight. Gotta work on building/reestablishing my social network independent of my STBX.

Thanks for this. I read it when it was first posted, have been lifting for a couple of months, am noticing improvement, but still have a spare tire. I repeat your title to myself every morning when I look in the mirror.

Seems like either her desire for divorce is simply a massive S# test or perhaps she's more of a believer now than you give her credit for? She's taken sufficient action, moving out, splitting up bank accounts, filing a petition. She's also stated in recent days, to me and others, that she isn't a believer. If she really wants a divorce and isn't a believer, I'd expect her to at the very least immediately quit the "charade" as it would be to her and unplug from the church. I'm a bit surprised as …
