David X was a natural who became a dating coach, he was like the godfather of direct natural game and his style is all about speaking your mind with women, i.e. being very direct and not using routines or manipulative tactics. He hooked up with 500 women before he settled down and got married and ran a harem for a few years during the 80s. He along with Alan Roger Currie were the OG's of direct game R.I.P.

I guess Im missing something, first you state that you don't drink with a coy smile on your face, then you redirect the subject to something more flirtatious that frames you as the prize to be won over, I don't understand why this is getting so much flak, I guess people need to study Swinggcat's four fold meta frame more.

That's why you'd only do it with a playful tongue in cheek attitude, if you do it seriously I can see it being cringe but if you're playful and not taking yourself to seriously it's banter.

Would you rather go totally indirect and lead girls to believe that you are only platonically interested in them?

I can easily see this post applying to me, I'm chubby, I have a skin condition that causes scaly dry skin, I'm unemployed for most of the year, and I live at home. Yet I have this attitude that since I'm involved in the seduction community and study game that I should only bother with the hottest, most high value girls. This post is humbling and I needed to hear it.

Depends on your frame. If you go into a date with courtship behaviors and give off an "I wanna be your boyfriend" vibe she'll put you in the boyfriend category. However, if you just flirt and create sexual tension and make it clear you aren't looking for anything serious you can find FWBs. So yes, your opinion is stopping you from getting laid because your frame is all fucked up.

I don't understand why some people insist Models is only a mindset book, the chapter Honest Communication is solely dedicated to verbal techniques and skills like cold reading, storytelling, and teasing etc. I think seduction is a lot simpler than guys make it seem, it's just that some guys want all the answers to all possible contingencies before they go out to approach and just end up procrastinating and becoming content junkies, they have to know everything about everything before they take a…

I'd recommend checking out cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT for short. I think a lot of issues men have about life in general not just women could be helped by applying the principle's it teaches.

Chunk down, by that I mean have smaller more attainable goals, like say hi to some women you see while going about your day, then when you're comfortable with that you can chat about something you genuinely find interesting with them after the hi. Then after the hi and chitchat you can ask for contact info and ask about hanging out again. You're skipping steps and demanding too much of yourself too soon, stop that.

Unfortunately some guys grew up awkward and have to work through a lot of negative social feedback, resulting in low overall confidence, in themselves, their social skills, and even in others. Pickup came from a lack of solutions to the dating and attraction problem that such men suffer from, mainstream society typically gives men lousy vague advice like "be yourself" and "be confident" but offers no pathway to achieve said advice. Pickup was an attempt to offer practical steps a guy could take …

Frame being an attractive man as being a man who can consistently give women good feelings, that's it. Being good looking, rich, and or high status will give women good feelings of course but what if you don't have those things? Luckily projecting a good vibe, being learned in sexual skills, and having good verbal game will give women good feelings as well, and those are the things in your immediate control so focus on that.

Depends on how you do it, if you do it from a place of scarcity and desperation yes you'll look thirsty and needy, but if you do it from a place of abundance and non attachment it'll show girls that you are confident.

This, the dicarlo escalation Ladder. Download it and yes it's a free resource, I think good girl game would revolve around gradually escalating physical contact while being verbally subtle and making normal conversation. This ebook was written for dudes but I think women could use it to powerful effect on men as well. P.S. don't let anyone make you feel unwelcome here, women should be able to come here to get advice on seduction too.
/r/seduction18/01/25 12:50 AM

I still think a girls best bet is to master her physical touch escalation skills while at the same time just making regular conversation. Here is an ebook called the Dicarlo escalation Ladder, it's free to download and I think the physical escalation skills it teaches are just as useful for women to use on men as visa versa.

I'm wondering if you're confusing being desperate with just being a combination of horny and proactive? Being horny or in community parlance having a sexual state and being proactive or leading are considered attractive traits not desperate traits.

Yeah sounds flakey, just move on. I'm a lazy fucker so I don't like to play games or spend time trying to analyze a girls intent, I'd say make 2 attempts to set up a meet up, if that doesn't pan out just cut your losses and turn your attention to other girls.

This is essentially a community of people looking to improve their seductive attributes, so yes.
/r/seduction17/01/25 05:35 AM

The seduction community calls it kino escalation, but that's just jargon for physical touch and gradual escalation of physical touch. Women typically don't like to be verbally direct but you can compensate for that by being very physical, think of places as a woman you would consider intimate(not private parts to be clear) to be touched and touch men you're attracted to there, and make sensual eye contact.

I have had a stupid fear for a while now, mine is that if I master this seduction stuff that I'll start having more sex then I'll eventually become some kind of sex addict, addiction runs in my family so that's a very real fear for me, I really don't like the idea of loosing control.

Women pick up on the minute details that us guys don't even think about. Body language, tone of voice, state and by state I mean you project the state you are in, If you are coming from scarcity and you are anxious or inhibited that'll project negatively to the girl, on the other hand if you are in a relaxed sexual state and you aren't needy that will attract girls and get them aroused. Look up gunwitch method for more information on this.

I second this, I was watching the direct dating summit in Berlin videos and Steve Pavlina was one of the guest speakers, he talked about approaching women from a "heart centered" place and he said and I'm paraphrasing when your heart makes you apprehensive about approaching a girl you don't fight it or argue with it, you show appreciation for your heart state, like you might say "thank you, I really appreciate that but there's something interesting here, let's try this anyway."

My advice to you would be to buy some courses from a legit sex coach, that's what I've done because I'm not the "biggest" guy and that caused me a lot of insecurity and made me think women wouldn't want to have sex with me, you see I think sexual confidence is at the core of insecurity with women, why do guys fear approaching it's not because they'll have their opener rejected I think, it's because they believe they suck in bed for one reason or another and they're afraid the girl will actually …

I like the theory that you should just talk about what YOU want to talk about and find interesting because 1 it's authentic and 2 your enthusiasm and positive emotional state will transfer to the girl your talking to causing her to get excited about whatever you're talking about, I believe I got that idea from RSD. Also use open ended questions when talking to girls, open ended questions are just questions that can't be answered with a simple yes or no for example "what are you passionate about?…

I suggest reading Models by Mark Manson, first it will give you realistic expectations about dating and attraction instead of hyperbolic marketing, second it offers a healthy non toxic model of how to become a man who naturally attracts women, and third I believe this book to be innoculation against black pill thinking which unfortunately is becoming more and more popular these days despite being bullshit.

Double your dating by David DeAngelo is a good ebook for a beginner who is looking for the bare bones basics of dating and attraction. Keep in mind though, the concept of "cocky & funny" that the book espouses can be tricky to apply. Cocky/funny should be treated as a spice to the main dish and not the main dish itself, as in don't overdo it just an occasional cocky/funny line here and there will work wonders.
/r/seduction27/10/24 10:45 PM

I think us men just because of how we're wired like to condense concepts into efficient, logical, labels. We generally don't like nebulous concepts floating out there in the ether, so we minimize the abstract and create a more concrete thing we can wrap our minds around so we use labels like "alpha male" and such to thingify(I know, not a real word) abstract ideas to create more functional and actionable thoughts that we can put to use right away, or that could just be me I don't know🤷

Adopt the frame of "I'm a celebrity and a homeless guy is hitting on my girl" a celebrity in this situation would be nonchalant and confident in that situation because he knows he has more value and therefore has nothing to worry about, girls are attracted to this attitude. just maintain the frame you are an awesome high value guy and that you're the prize, it beats the frame of being insecure and needy which will kill attraction.

That's strange that you read Models and it didn't help you become more "yourself". The premise of the book is getting rid of pickup models and being your true authentic real self. Re-read Models and really try to understand the principles it lays out, detox off all other pickup content and focus on what models teaches. I believe the reason Models is so popular is because all us guys want to attract women authentically, we don't want to put on a facade of game and be phonies just to get laid beca…

Dating is a skill, like sports or a trade. It doesn't make you a bad guy or a loser to not have skill in a certain area, if a man is bad at carpentry for instance do you say "what's wrong with you? Why can't you build a cabinet loser?" Probably not, you probably just assume he is inexperienced and needs to develop the skill to gain competence. The same can be said of socializing and dating. First you practice a skill and as you improve you gain competence and as you gain competence you gain conf…

Realistically there may very well be some women who treat you bad because of how you look, but I think the majority of women out there are kind or at least indifferent based on how you look. If you harbor negative thoughts about people it will manifest in the vibe you give off and create a self fulfilling prophecy. If you at least give women the benefit of the doubt and interact with them from a place of non neediness and positive vibes you'll get better reactions from them.

Mark isn't telling you to not take the woman's needs into account, he's telling you to honor her needs but in a way that doesn't compromise your values. Courtship is just giving women time to experience YOU, to experience your non needy attitude and to express vulnerability.

Yes, Manson considered those techniques value adjustor's I believe, to convince her that you are less needy and thus higher status than you really are with performative tricks. But instead the book encourages you to be vulnerable in everything you say and do thus sub-communicating that you are less needy and of higher status organically. So if you are already less needy and higher status by virtue of your willingness to display genuine vulnerability you no longer need techniques like negs, push/…

Every guy needs to go through a hoe phase, to experience the sexual diversity life has to offer. Once that is satiated man needs to find a greater purpose otherwise he gets trapped on the validation hamster wheel. So you're right sex isn't the journey in the long run its just part of the journey, an important part let's be honest but just a part. As long as guys don't let themselves get motivated by validation instead of happiness they should be OK.

I subscribe to David Tian's views about mirror neurons and emotional contagion, because of mirror neurons people will pick up on your emotions and feel what you feel, if you feel anxious then you will transfer anxious emotions and the girl will pick up on them, if you feel aroused instead the girl will pick up on that and your arousal will transfer. This is all in The Desire System by David Tian.

I always thought gunwitch method would be like a nuclear bomb for women to use, it is an older pua method that is based on getting yourself into a sexual state and projecting that state on the object of your desire. It works on the principle of the minds mirror neurons, essentially what you feel you project onto others, basically just get yourself into an aroused state of mind, lower your voice into a sultry soft sexual voice, make lustful eye contact and don't be afraid to make physical contact…
