It's disappointing, isn't it, to realize that you're only of value to them when you're validating them. The moment you decide to ask for deep validation for yourself? You'll be exiled.

I'm painfully familiar with this state of being. Carried it well into my forties, and only just recently became free of it. There's nothing quite like helping someone you thought was a friend through a tough time in their life. Then, when you're sharing your tough time, they ask you if your seeing a therapist. Sheeeit. If I had known that's how the conversation would eventually end, I never would have started taking to them in the first place. Are you familiar with the hierarchy of rarity with v…

It's frustrating needing a very specific kind of empathy & understanding, and being completely unable to find it, isn't it? So many people innocuously have a platitude in their pocket, to be pulled out and given to someone like you. Even professionals. They think that because they felt despair for a minute, once, way back when, that they know what it's like to feel endless despair. They share with you their what I call platitudinous bullshit, having no idea that it shows you that they don't real…

I want to plant one little idea into the storm inside your head. If you end your life now, you'll never get the opportunity to show your girlfriend how grateful you are that she cared enough to drain her savings to support you through this hardship. You've gone from a woman who is sucking the life out of you, to one who is trying to put life into you. No matter how bleak things feel, this is a gift. Forget about the money for a minute... What do you think will be the psychological and emotional …

I used to feel a deep emotional connection to my clients. Felt like I could never move away, because they needed me. Then, the pandemic happened and I learned just how wrong I was. While I'll be sad that I'm leaving a few behind, it's become clear that most ever only really cared about what I did for them. My general happiness in life was less of their concern. You're going to need to make a decision. Is staying where you are going to keep you in a state of unhappiness? If you can stay, and neve…

Sir, I misunderstand nothing here. This is my expertise. I know that you asked for help in dying. I also know that if death were in your immediate future, you'd have figured out how to do it by now without having needlessly involved a bunch of internet strangers and burdened them with this weight. You know that no one in their right mind is going to say "Hey! I know how to do that! Let me help you kill yourself." No one here is that careless or cruel a person, no matter what you may think about …

I'm going to be the one to come out and say it... you don't really want to die. You just feel like you do. How do I know that you don't really want to die? Well... you reached out. At your very core, there's a spark inside you that wants you to keep going. This spark also understands the pain you feel and is asking for help (in the only language you know), because it knows there is a future for you where you don't feel like this all of the time. For you to inhabit this future, there are certain …

Thanks! Some lessons take longer than others. I'm an extremely fast learner, and have far surpassed those I used to look up to. Wait until you realize that one... the people you used to look up to you will eventually see as equals. As you grow, you'll realize that you're now looking down on them. Not that looking down on them is bad. We don't treat people like shit, like they do. When we interact with 'lesser people' we treat them with the same kindness and respect that we give to those we used …

I already commented elsewhere, but wanted to respond directly to this comment, too. If you know you're going to leave, then this is the perfect opportunity to enforce consequences when they trample your boundaries. If you let them trample once, they'll do it every time. You already know this. So, do something different. If it pisses them off, well... you're leaving soon anyway. What the fuck do you care, right? Hehe Think of this place as the training ground. You can learn the lesson here and a …

This is going to be your life lesson in setting and enforcing boundaries. If you continue being this much of a doormat, it will only end in the resentment that you are beginning to feel swell into something destructive to what's left of your well being. Your helper is lazy. He doesn't take the initiative that you take. This is why everyone heaps the work onto you. Most people in this world as passive little pansies and are just as incapable of asserting themselves as you are. What does this mean…

What an incredibly frustrating position to be in. There are very few ways, if any, where uiu can take decisive action and feel like you've 'won'. The cost associated with your parental relationships seems to be way too high, making it feel like lose/lose. No matter what you do. Your worry about the future... the one your mom planted inside your head... is quite valid. Not necessarily for being the kind of person the are, but for that they have failed at teaching you what a healthy adult relation…

I'm glad it helped. If I may offer one correction about how you approached her, it is that you were given her number for professional reasons, then used it for personal gain. It would have been more wise to make your romantic request in person. This was a mistake. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just learn the lesson and don't repeat it.

I'd speculate that her "friendly" demeanor is a way to gain clients. As for you, sir, a good boundary to have in place is to never attempt to start a relationship with employees of places you visit regularly. By trying to ask her out, you've created an anxious situation for yourself. My advice would be to dismiss any attraction you may have had for her as 'incorrect', as evidenced by her reaction, and do your best to move on. Do not try to "make things right" or try to show her you're not a bad …

If he had the thick skin you speak of, he wouldn't have been so easily and detrimentally affected by the words of other people. Sensitive people rarely develop thick skin, as it means to be desensitized to not only the eliws in life, but the highs, too. Now that you can see the hole you find yourself in, for what it really is, you can begin to climb out. You have the memories inside you of what you 'used to be'. You also have the memories of all that's come between who you are vs. who you've become. Try to imagine who you'd be if you hadn't been so sensitive to other people's misperceptions and projections. Like I said before, you have a very bright future ahead of you. This, your childhood, is the price you have to pay in order to get to that future. Everything has a price, and sometime the price must be paid in advance. What you're going through is exactly what that feels like. You cannot see what lies beyond your current circumstances. What you can do about this is hold yourself stable in the center of knowing that she is incapable of 'seeing' you as you really are... a good kid. When she tries to assert her will over yours, hold fast in the knowing that you are not what she keeps telling you and your brothers that you are. It's going to be your responsibility to help your brothers through this time as well, until each of you is safely outside her influence. What she's saying to you is largely irrelevant. The real issue is that she's a harpy in training. You're just an outlet for her to try her venom on. Build the wall, give her zero reactions to feed upon, and enjoy life without worrying about 'why' a harpy is a harpy.

The only reason you think you have no issues with it having been done is that you can't remember the event so as to be able to connect it with behavioral issues and persistent negative life statements. The trauma from the event itself underpins a good amount of psychological issues layer in life.

Thank you for asking. I no longer work in health care, and have let my licensing lapse. This rules me out from being able to assist in a 'legitimate' professional capacity. It doesn't mean I'm uninterested, but that the support I can offer is atypical. I regard it as one of the greatest evils perpetrated in this world. Countless men robbed of the most sensitive way they can explore another human being, while simultaneously replacing it with an unanchored sense of betrayal, mind-shattering pain, defenselessness, and... rage.

I specialize in trauma processing via a clinical approach through empathy. This means I have to either have experienced a thing or have an inherent understanding, so as to be able to put language to the underlying emotions. A little over a year ago, this lead me to being able to remember the procedure when it was done to me. By far, it's the worst thing most men will ever experience. The pain is so overwhelming, and the memory impossible to locate, that men deny that anything bad ever happened. …

It's taken me many years to come to the mindset that I just don't care about women's issues any more. I've cared my whole life and have nothing to show for it. All the while, few of the seem to care about what we go through. So, I've recalibrated myself and am focused on empathizing with men. Those men can use my training to work with their women, but I won't do that directly anymore. My net-negative experience of women leaves them to fend for themselves. Exactly! These unreasonable standards are leaving tons of men needlessly single, homes, and families broken. I watiched his last broadcast. He spent a long time trying to help a divorcee understand what she was doing to her ex husband and how it was damaging their boys. Isn't that what he was doing though? Teaching average women how to be average? Encouraging them to shop in their own category? I get it. Most people want to punch above their weight class. Who wouldn't? There's still a limit to how high one can reasonably expect to punch and land a solid hit. He was trying to help women understand that they've been lied to for decades, and that those lies have been tearing apart the community.
/r/ExRedPill06/05/22 04:29 PM

What I failed to clearly articulate is that he focused on the HVM, because that's what all of his women callers wanted. He then laid out the criteria of such a man. The women would agree. Then, he'd explain how rare and that man is to her and her impossibly high standards, when he has many women vying for him. If women were calling in complaining how hard it was to get and everyday average guy, he would have used his model for them instead.
/r/ExRedPill06/05/22 04:21 PM

Not his model, but the model of what women think they want. Blue collar workers were off the table, because the average woman doesn't want them. Even though they build and maintain the world she enjoys. He was trying to get average women to understand that they needee to be aiming for average men, who are needlessly single.

If the Divine Masculine is suffocating you, then it's not the "divine" that you're feeling, bit something else. When you feel inspired to be a certain way, or to evolve yourself into a certain role, that is divine. If you're feeling pressured to conform to a set of criteria defined as "divine", that's actually something toxic you're feeling. Its important to be able to draw a distinction between to two, so you can tell the difference between pressure and inspiration. They are not the same.

It's not about refusing to be angry at injustice. I would never tell someone to not be angry over the committing of atrocities. It's about the effect of holding onto that anger and the amount of your attention that it commands. I'll tell you a similar thing to what I told my aunt (69y/o at the time), several years after her mother died. Grandma was an "introvert covert narcissist" who hid behind a violently abusive and molesting alcoholic husband (step father). He died in the early 80s, and she …

Oh, no, you're right about that. No one is happy in life. And if they are, then they're delusional. Our world is currently in the height of chaos and confusion. Things are coming to a head, but it's quite unpleasant. Anxiety and angst are the emotions of the decades. Breaking free from the collective angst is hard work, but very liberating. Everything will be getting better, as we're transitioning from a very dark age in our planet's history into a new Golden Age of humanity. I found this video,…

Ah, yes. I remember my version of what you're feeling. It's not a fun place to be, and takes time, experience, and some effort to break out of. I didn't start breaking free of that mindset until I was 39. Someone popped into my life, albeit briefly, and woke something up inside me. Looking back in thses seven years, that person still serves as my single thread of hope and inspiration. I've gone from hating my body, and hating myself to realizing I'm fucking gorgeous and really don't know what I …

It's is going to be incredibly difficult to meet a good woman if your angry with women, in general. So, you have a choice to make: cling to your anger, or decide to take action to deal with it so that you'll one day be receptive to meet a lovely lady who's looking for someone just like you. The former is easy. All you have to do is nothing, and the anger will breed itself into resentment, disdain, and strife. You can cherish them for many years to come. The latter will be one kndyhe hardest, yet…

She just attacked you... shamelessly. I highly recommend you consider setting a boundary with her about her tone when she wants to bring up points of contention with you. I doubt she'll take it well, because her argument was basically "Men are mean to women. I'm a woman. So, you have to give me attention." How she responds to you telling her what you consider unacceptable treatment in a relationship will help you determine whether or not you would even want to continue with her. My gut feeling o…

That man was broken before you were even born. And, yes... it was incredibly wrong for him to sit by and watch his wife abuse his son... doing nothing about it for his fear of being alone. You're right to be angry, and he's not entitled to your forgiveness. I don't want you holding onto your anger with him to prevent you from being able to get your own healing/processing done. It's very important to draw a certain distinction here. What they're getting is not 'love'. They're getting 'attention'. You're running a deficit of both love AND attention, as the two very much go hand in hand. They are, however, distinct from each other The way I understand our world is that women are often not the providers of love. That's what men bring to the table. To get the kind of attention you're seeking, it's important to increase your 'attractiveness'. It gets harder and harder to fe…

You may find it both necessary and valuable to set a boundary with your girlfriend. At no point, ever, is it OK for her to use your weaknesses against you when she's feeling pissy in a fight. This is poor form, and reflects poorly on her character. Good people don't attack their loved ones like that. If she fancies herself a good person, it's her job to keep her tongue in check. Words can cut deeply, and she came close to causing catastrophic damage to your relationship. This is not how adults b…

I take the stance that pretty much anyone who uses that kind of argument that it happens to another demographic more is being disingenuous and arguing in bad faith. People that these kinds of things have actually happened to, rarely argue like that. They're much more prone to some basic level of empathy. What you're encountering is narcissism. In this case, they claim that it happens to women more, but... have any of the people who have said that found themselves in an abusive situation that was…

I'll make one response to this. You, as an adult, can make changes to your body as a promise to your deity of choice. When you do that to your child, that's not a promise. An infant is incapable of both making a promise and of understanding the reasoning behind it. There are no valid 'pros' to the routine practice on infants. None. If had a direct line on the phone with God, he would also decry the practice.

You're going to need to stop subjecting yourself to environments where people say things like KAM. You can't stop them, and you likely can't stop caring. What you can do, however, is stop giving them any of your attention. No good or decent person leads with KAM, or KAanything, for that matter. If you find yourself in a place where that is bantered about, the only thing you need to understand is that you are in the wrong place. Excuse yourself. Leave. Protect your emotions.

One of my most favorite book series is of a society that is run by women, but enforced by men. Our three male protagonists are the most powerful in the history of their kind. They grew up where most women were afraid of them. Not because of who they were, but because they could overpower and not be controlled. Their dream was to find women who weren't intimidated by them. Well, they found what they wanted, it got real interesting, and real funny.
