Sorry, I'm not the guy you were originally talking to.

Well, no, you are now literally talking about qualitative evidence, not quantitative.

You seem to be getting social justice confused with Affirmative Action. You also seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of statistics. If 90% of all board members are men, do you really think it's possible that that comes down to individual characteristics like "drive"? Sure, there will be differences due to women's choices regarding raising children and a few other factors, but 90% is such a huge proportion that discrimination literally has to (and has proven to) play a part. There are are…

I won't get into the specifics of why your argument rings false because this is a Men's Rights subreddit I'll get down-voted to all hell. But what I will say is that when I joined this sub first, it was about fighting for equality of the sexes while making sure to highlight any instances where there was inequality in favour of women, as these instances were often ignored due to the fact that women's equality was generally the focus of popular discourse. Now it's full of this "anti-SJW" sentiment…

Please explain to me how "social justice" is an oxymoron and how in any way it suggests equality of outcome?

This sub lost its way a long time ago. I remember when /r/MensRights used to be a place for informed, constructive discussion of gender issues from a male perspective, and not a hub for rape apologists.

I didn't say anything related to what you just said. I agree with you, and one of the main reasons that there are more single mothers out there is because the courts give them custody more often. Just commenting that you shouldn't get so pissed off at every little thing you see on Facebook that doesn't congratulate you or make you feel good about yourself.

This is perfectly fine to me. Being a single parent is hard. The reason you might see more of this than the other way around (celebrating fathers on Mother's Day) is simply because there are a whole lot more single mothers out there than single fathers.

Hence why I said theory. I'm agreeing with you, I just think they're not relatable arguments.

True, but in theory there's no reason for men to be more interested in men's sports than women's sports, whereas of course women will be interested in women's clothing than men's clothing. They're not comparable professions.

There's a huge difference here though that you're missing. Female models get paid more because females are more interested more in fashion. When watching sports, however, the gender of the viewer really shouldn't dictate which gender they should prefer viewing.

Wow, /r/MensRights has really taken a step down. If you think Conan is making a salient point about double-standards regarding sexism, you are an idiot and, quite frankly, a little bit misogynistic.

ITT: people who refuse to acknowledge that OP was clearly trying to get a rise out of this girl. Cheap.

I'm not. A woman raping a man is perfectly legal in Irish law. According to the Criminal Law (Rape) Act 1981 only a man can rape. Ireland is fucked up too, man.

Don't teach people to lock their doors. Teach thieves not to steal.

Probably shouldn't. It is perfectly legal for a woman to rape a man in Ireland.

IIRC there was a toy truck on the floor during Walter's visit. But I always thought he lied to Walter so as to seem relateable, because his family is never mentioned again.

Is it just me or does this actually make a tiny little bit of sense?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
