The only thing constant in life is change. The odds are against you two marrying each other but that is not necessary anything to be super sad about beforehand. Focus on yourself, build a career, make good friends etc. If you end up together, great. If not, that is just life, appreciate the time you have together. If he cheats on you or leave you for prettier women then count yourself lucky because you find out early.

Lol sorry. This sounds like a very thinly veiled brag about your perfect life using reddit men with porn addiction as a pretext. You got called out hard by u/girlwithabike. The fact that you are a nurse and got called out made it very satisfying. P.S. I am an MD 🤣🤣🤣

You said you broke it off because you found nothing in common with them then adding your salary will not fix that issue unless by things in common you mean similar salary haha. If people know you are an engineer then any reasonable person would be able to guess your salary range so it is redundant and has the potential to send the wrong signal. My personal preference probably doesn’t matter but my initial reaction to anyone putting a specific salary on dating profile is: is this person putting e…

No confusion here. Thats probably why half of them are unhappy.

That is interesting. I work in medicine and most married couples I know are career driven. The wives in those couple I would describe as strong and independent. Majority seem to be doing well. 3 or 4 who opted for a classic “trophy wife” and half of them seem unhappy.

Sorry to hear about your past experiences. Just to echo what everyone has said I do not think that your situation is as hopeless as you may think. Geography may play a role here. Good luck.

That is the way it should be.

Nah. Get on your feet. Be independent first then maybe think about this. This guys is essentially “shit she actually has the backbone to leave. I thought she would beg to stay and I can establish my dominance. Let me try to derive some more benefits from her because getting another girl is too much work.”

I am sorry that you suffer romantically due to lookism but do not give this guy any chances. He is not even a decent human being. Things will always be hard for those of us not blessed in the looks department but you still have a lot of time to improve and find a decent guy. In fact, I would even confront him about what he said. These guys need to be called out for sure. Good luck.

How old are you? Lol sure maybe in the past that was what people thought about OLD but now it is a one of the normal ways of meeting people. It has pros and cons just like everything else in life so you have to be aware of those but to claim that people’s SMV automatically drops just by the fact of them using OLD is absolutely ridiculous. There are more than 1 ways of meeting women. Did you fail at OLD and shit on it to sooth your bruised ego?

RP exaggerates Body language Location You are simply average looking.

Yep but if it is the only goal then your family is in a pretty precarious position financially. At least in the US, single income household is pretty risky. Probably 80% of people are 1 illness away from homelessness.

Well mod can ban or remove if appropriate. I accept the consequences. However, the other poster sure is qualified to school OP hence the link. Since you are looking up post history you can see I am also looking for an engagement ring. I post in the FA forum to screen for depression and suicidal thoughts.

Please see this for further details. https://www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comments/diasdc/doormat_vs_deference/ OP is being a doormat and has the personality of a piece of deadwood while mistakenly believe that it is an attractive trait. When I look at all the highly accomplished guys in my field who opted for a RPW, their wives are supportive and respect their opinions but definitely not the type who ALWAYS let them make decisions. Good thing for OP that she is young and has time to develop if…

Why can’t you make those decisions on your own? I think you misunderstand the concept of submission and deference in this sub context.

Exactly that. You have to adjust your inventory to customers :)

You are 24 so you have time. I know a thing or two about having a past. I almost got deported, was almost in jail but now I am a doctor in a pretty respectable place in California. I will not be millionaire rich but I will be ok. If you spend so much time partying why don’t you work marketing? Event organizer, promoters etc. Not all of them require night hours and you already have some connections. I assume you are good looking or you would not be hired for those other jobs. You might have to ge…

Seems like you have the looks part down. How to be important in your partners life is unfortunately dependent on the type of man your partner is. I am early 30s and a physician so I can only speak for this group. Most look for somebody equally as solid career wise. Most do not want to be the sole provider. Out of the few who opted for a txt book trophy wife (absolutely nothing wrong with that), some seem to regret their choice though trying hard not to show it. It is not easy to be a one income …
