Sadly that wasn't my experience when I still went to school, as we only had a Girl's Day then. Virtually all rites of initiation in traditional communities revolve around this in some way. And by doing so, you make them more unequal in others. 1	What is/are the primary reason(s) for the gender disparity in college graduates? Looking for the cause in the educational system itself is all well and good, but we shouldn't neglect to realize that schools aren't an isolated system where you can leave your home life at the front door. Meaning, at least in part, boys do worse in the education system because they do worse at home, too. Because it is their husband children, not the children of their own clans. They are potential traitors, seeping as unreliable allies in a foreign clan. It seems wild that women would show higher loyalty to their clan of origin than their own children, although I can at least see a difference between mothers and fathers in this regard. I find it disturbing how many people reject any empathy, not just for the mentally ill, but any perceived enemy or adversary in general.
