Probably means that you should completely own up to it and not hide from it. I think this is the most unpopular response in the thread but the best one. It’s honest, shows you are comfortable with discomfort, and in a way it tests women. Great challenge to overcome if you ask me. Own it 100%, don’t lie, and pay the numbers game until you mean girls that are understanding that don’t care.

Practical. I went to school for a few years and made connections that got me into a startup at the age of 20, which snowballed into a life science sales career for 5 years. I’ve made plenty of industry connections with over 1,800 connections on LinkedIn. I just ended up in a situation where if I lost my job I’d lose my great story of going directly into industry. I think I will go to my college on Monday and learn about switching to a STEM field...if I can will myself through a computer science …

Ironic as I always yell at people on here to read the sidebar. But you’re damn right, thanks for pointing that out again. Will read that right now. Edit: I will not take a week. I was going to before. I will entertain travel to Pittsburg maybe, I have a plate out there that is due for a visit. I’ll start a side hustle and Uber in the meantime. Also just heard back from my old boss who would like me to do some consulting for him for a few grand, which will give me breathing room.

Great points all around. I have time to figure out my shit for a few months. But fuck a few months I’ll set deadlines and make moves on a daily and weekly basis towards my new plan. This will be a good thing, I learned a lot at the highest level of selling, and I’m going to use t to kick ass and continue working towards my goals/mission in life.

As a professional salesman, I agree with this and totally understand where you are coming from. I hate this, I hate salespeople who suck, lie to the point of negativity and mismanage expectations. I am a big proponent of selling the right way. When it’s done as such, everyone wins.

A clean diet will actually reduce the amount of cravings, he won’t want to eat shit if you’re doing it right. Started Keto, I don’t even look at cookies, KFC, etc. let alone think about those foods.

What a great hypothesis… Although it was a nice post, in a sea of online dating/tinder related posts “ skipping the phone number” is the only novel idea I really took away from it… I’ll have to run with us for a bit and see how it works for me. Love the idea of not asking for number indicating more IDGAF attitude and creating less pressure on the date..

Mixed on that. Faking it until you make it is often shared as good advice. I took that for a while too. But at some point you’ll need to learn/make-up/bridge the gap otherwise you’ll get exposed. Depending on what you have faked the consequences could be catastrophic. It’s good to know when to stop and pull back. Most people, however, do not. You get lucky (which I did) or it comes crashing down (which happened to me as well)...that’s why I love the “Building Power” tags. That should be the advi…

What are your thoughts about skipping the number? I think you can remove an additional step, lower the barriers to schedule a date, and it’s one less touch point to deal with… I think a flake rate might go higher when scheduling dates, but I think it would be quicker… I do see the value in bringing the conversation outside of Tinder...Thoughts?
