Maybe they found attraction with these average dudes, even if they are not conventionally attractive. Just the same as a single comment from a hot dude can sometimes make you rethink your whole attraction to him.

It's based on the joke/philosophical question "if a tree falls where no one is there to listen to it, does it makes a noise?" And the answer to that question depends on whether you consider a noise to be defined by something someone listens to or by the sonic wave itself. That's a controversy like 'what came first, the egg or the chicken?' You can get people debating that endlessly.

I agree that no newcomer should barge in and expect his demands to be listened to. But there is a problem now in a few online gaming communities, with harassment that begins as soon as it is revealed that you are female. And some gamers treat them differently for being women. Even if they are good and even if they are good team workers. So I think that may have build resentment.

She could bring down the difficulty just to pass the boss and have the pleasure of killing it herself. But I knew as many boys as girls my age that played when I was a child. It was usually the parents that were encouraging passively the boys to play and the girls to stop and do chores instead. I don't understand why people now say women never have been into gaming. Even my mom was more interested in games than my dad. She beat quite a few of them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
