That's completely fair in my mind, FGM is aimed at completely ruining the girl's genitals whereas male circumcision is cosmetic. However I'm still not okay with the practice on principle. It's unnecessary and wrong.

Grooming is a term reserved for its use in sexual predation. The boy would have never agreed to be with a 44 year old if she hadn't been preparing him and warping his mindset toward accepting what's going on. Even if that's not true, the age of consent exists because it's the best common denominator for maturity and that woman should be punished severely even if he was minutes away from being 18. No exceptions for predators.

Scrolled too far looking for this. The man is more comedian than journalist, and people seem to forget that when looking for reasons to hate him. Plus it's clear to see in the interview that he's talking about his own shady experiences in figuring out he is gay at a young age rather than pushing a pedophilloic sympathy agenda like people accused him of.

It's been 'about goddamn time' we gave out harsh punishment for false accusations for a very long time. Too long. At the very least I want to see misdemeanors handed out for this brand of slander. At the most, fines or jail time.
