You saying that what I was taught was wrong indicates you found evidence that disproves it…

No, you said you couldn’t find anything. So did you find contradicting evidence or no evidence? Which is it?

I really don’t care enough to look into it further. Take it as you will and do your own research

Not really, I was just commenting some interesting stuff I came across in my life. Not trying to shame or harm anyone.

2011, and I couldn’t tell you now honestly. It was one of favorite classes though, absolutely fascinating. It was the psychology and biology of human sexuality at Michigan state university.

I took a human sexuality class in college, and basically based on studies, its extremely rare for men to be bisexual, they tend to be either gay or straight. And my personal experience has been the bisexual men I’ve met eventually were gay, they just couldn’t come to terms with it at the time for whatever reason

I’m not sure where men think women are the ones sleeping around, I lived with 3 girls and 2 guys in my 20s and the girls barely slept with anybody while the guys had new partners weekly.

I was single for 8 years before I met my husband. I enjoyed my alone time and the biggest downsides for me are having less time to just come home and relax and also not be touched all the time lol. But other than that everything is better. We can talk for hours about anything, he’s my best friend. One night I was particularly annoyed in my head about how I just wanted to do nothing and he had been following me around chatting since I walked in the door. Then he held me and said “you’re the best …

All of my single girlfriends are kind, funny, and pretty enough. They’re single because their standards are too high, period. I’ve tried to give them advice (I just got married 2 months ago after years of dating struggles because my standards were delusional) but they keep saying the refuse to “settle”.

They were made mothers because a man decided to ejaculate inside of them.

Definitely wasn’t anorexic before hahaha. I mean I’d rather be 30 pounds lighter than not. But it’s not had a negative affect on my appearance, it seems

I get hit on in LOS ANGELES of all places more now 30 pounds heavier than I did when I first moved here, lol. I'm also tall and well proportioned, so maybe that's why?

I can’t wait to have babies. Getting married in 6 weeks and then it’s off to the races!

Nah, I got more male attention than ever when I gained weight and had more curves, and this was in Los Angeles.

I actually think Lauren looks a lot older than 53. Plastic surgery ages you if done in excess like she has

I don’t think so. Almost every married woman I know including myself (well, almost - get married in 2 months!) earns more than her husband

I’m don’t think they’re all just giving up. I have a friend who’s fit, cute, fun, and way too picky. At 37 she’s never had a boyfriend despite going on lots of dates. She complains that no one is good enough. And I’ve seen the men she’s rejected, they’ve definitely been at her level. So I think narcissism also plays a large part in this

I actually work in film and TV so I’m aware of that. But you’d be surprised how many women do this

Because western women aren’t attracted to non-western men for the most part.

Have you never seen 90 day fiancé? Lol

I’m the “settle down girl”. I was actually a virgin by choice until I turned 28. And the only reason I decided to have sex was because I felt like none of the men I had dated wanted to commit to me knowing that I was a virgin. I had been single for 6 years and I felt like my virginity and hope to commit myself to one man only had backfired and was holding me back from ever having a relationship. I felt horrible after I did it, didn’t tell a soul for 6 months afterward. I only had sex 4 more time…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/23 04:14 AM

Might be regional too. I live in Los Angeles and it seems pretty common here
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 03:50 PM

I think this is rapidly changing. Almost every couple I know including myself, the female earns substantially more than her male partner.

I was a virgin (by choice) until I turned 28. I felt embarrassed because it seemed to be a turn off for most men and it was keeping me from finding a relationship. I finally did it a few times but it didn’t feel right. Then I met my future husband who was not a virgin but respected my desire to wait, we get married in October

All of my single friends (in their mid 30s) are single because they are only attracted to men that are out of their leagues. I have tried and tried to gently help them, I realized I was making mistakes in dating, fixed them, and I’m getting married this year. But the just don’t listen

No, it’s not saying to NEVER argue. But some people like to argue about literally everything and it gets super tiring.

No not true. I have dated really hot guys (like actual models) but I prefer funnier, less Greek god-like guys. My fiancé is cute with a dad bod and hilarious personality. But he’s a great guy who I know will make an amazing father one day. Much rather have that then a hot dude

I’d rather have a funny guy than a super hot guy any day.

As a female, to me it means not arguing for the sake of arguing. I have a lot of female friends who knitpick their partners for every little thing, I think it’s the most annoying thing ever. I couldn’t marry someone that was always criticizing me

My dad is a divorce attorney (40+ years). I’m going to ask him this question and report back.

33F in Los Angeles, I’m gonna assume women out number men here. I never had an issue finding nice guys to go on dates with here, and they were respectful and very “gentlemanly” to me. Met my soon to be husband here via a mutual friend almost 3 years ago. I come from suburban Michigan, and I feel like I had a much easier time dating here (with many more successful men to choose from) than in my hometown.

Female here - honestly going to the gym is just great for feeling happier and healthier in general, aesthetics aside. I really enjoy going there for that reason too.

I think a lot of this has to do with their relationship with their father. My sisters and I have an amazing dad who treats our mom like a queen and we would never tolerate this kind of behavior from men.

I’m a straight woman and I 1000000% think they have. So many women I know are downright horrible about men.

Ah, so according to this, since I ended up with a guy my age who’s 6’4, I have a high RMV?

Yeah agreed, I can’t stand that lifestyle and think it’s pretty much just for narcissists

I wouldn’t say it’s a rise, but a return. People are more unhappy than ever before currently. Maybe the woke stuff plays a part in that. I know my single friends wish they had partners right now, in their early 30s, vs during their fun years of messing around. I have a loving boyfriend who I’m planning a future with - children, house, etc. and I’m more happy than I’ve ever been. My poly friends seem miserable, even the married ones with other partners. You’d think more people = more love but it …

This mindset is exactly how I was able to finally get a boyfriend after 8 years of being too picky. I thought I would be single for life but it was really my own fault!

I took a relationships communication class in college - and I think it’s a lot about being able to be vulnerable with a female partner for a man. Women have their girlfriends to vent and open up to, whereas men can really be that emotional with their male friends

I’m a female - I love men. I worked with pretty much all guys at my job, and I feel like I had an inside look at how they are. They aren’t passive aggressive, pretty chill for the most part, are very funny, and always were nice to me. They LOVE talking about food… at least around me that was the #1 thing they talked about. The sports, then gadgets lol. Women just seem like they have it out for each other. I never feel as comfortable around women in the workplace as I do with men.

I make 4x as much as my boyfriend

I strongly believe this has everything to do with hormones being pumped into our foods, among other things. I’ve always struggled with weight, and when I visit countries abroad I lose it effortlessly. I’m talking like eating salads and shit in America, consciously dieting and not losing - then going to Europe eating bread and cheese and drinking beer everyday and losing 10 pounds . It’s crazy!

I make 4x as much as my boyfriend. He treats me very well and I love him. However it definitely is a turn off for sure.

I make a lot of money - I don't need a partner to make a lot and live comfortably. He also had many other great characteristics I was looking for - he's kind, funny, super loving, good with animals, same core values, shared interests, etc. and I'm attracted to him.

I am a 33 year old woman in a happy relationship. This is definitely happening - all my girlfriends including myself make significantly more than their male partners. It hasn't totally changed the dynamics of what men want and could usually achieve (a hot younger woman because they can pay for her lifestyle) but it's getting there. I'm glad I'm out of the dating market now. It seems to suck for both sides.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
