Personally I think anyone should be able to cut all ties if they don't want to be a parent. That kid is going to be better off without parents that don't want them. I wouldn't even limit it to unborn babies or new DNA information, just full stop if you don't want your kid you can hand them over but just know you won't get them back easily or at all if you change your mind.

Straight people should not be taking over gay bars in the first place. Full stop. This needs to end.

Probably relates to the whole "don't hit a girl" attitude, which needs to be replaced with "don't hit people unless it's in self defense."

Well, that and you've said she kinda hates men. You probably don't want to be in a relationship with someone who hates everyone of your gender. That's gonna seriously suck. It's like a trans person dating a transphobe or a black person dating a white supremacist. There's no way your relationship is gonna go well.

Some people will go around saying "feminism" means wanting gender equality. I'm not sure that's the best word for that purpose, but I think that's why they think it makes sense that feminism could be fighting for men as well. The line about toxic masculinity and feminism fighting for men is a common liberal talking point. There definitely seem to be a lot of people who associate MRAs with incels/MGTOW. To be fair, an incel or MGTOW likely would be an MRA since they're usually very upset at havin…

I feel like if someone wants a relationship where both partners invest a lot into the relationship and mutually take care of each other, they should look for someone who feels the same way. If somebody you're interested in, of any gender, isn't prepared to invest as much into the relationship as you are, cool, move on. If you yourself aren't willing to invest as much as you're asking for in a partner, you're not ready for a relationship. None of this has to be about gender unless people make it …

Your mom, grandma, and aunt are misandrist and abusive. Hope you get out of there as soon as you can.

But also, even if we did this, we would be laughed at, ridiculed, called sexist and that we need to grow some balls and get over it. I'd like to hope not everyone would react that way. I think one of the things society is actually trying to come to terms with, at least in some circles, is that yeah, men can be parents too actually (seems like that should've been obvious lol). For example, if someone posts in AITA about some Karen trying to get them arrested for watching their own kids at a playg…

I think it gets overused but should just be for if a man is trying to explain what it's like to be a woman and basically making it up out of his ass. For example, if a man tries to talk about how women feel about things and why and is clearly just making up bullshit and is plain wrong. But if a person is just explaining or stating something and happens to be a man, it's dumb to call that mansplaining.

I don't usually comment here, just lurk, but for this, I guess I'll break that, even if some subs kick me out. Most of the posts on here seem to me to be insightful and reflect real issues men face that are due to misandry. However, I sometimes run into one or two that I find off-putting, that seem to be misogynist or blowing issues out of proportion. But while it could be partly those, I think it's more likely that people associate MRAs with incels. The narrative often pushed is that MRAs are m…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
