Back when I was in high school, I always hated how teachers and staff would act as if girls needed extra help reaching higher education. I'm black, and at the time I believe it was 2 black women in higher ed for every 1 male. Even in the high school itself, girls made up a notable majority of the student body and staff. The black community loves spouting general feminist "facts" without actually contextualizing them and ignoring the plight of males.

A few days ago I responded to another guy about this. I do fairly frequently find myself wishing I was female, but not in the literal sense. I'm not experiencing dysphoria, it's just that loneliness is at the crux of 99% of my problems and I feel like if I were female they wouldn't be as apparent. I feel invisible at best and I don't think many women can actually relate to what that feels like.
