Nobody complains about porn, statistically. Most porn is 18-21yo women literally fucking older men. So an 18yo is old enough to sell herself into a sex industry and fuck under contractual obligation, but not to fuck a 40yo guy in private? Long term relationships might carry more baggage, but adults are adults, so long as it's mutually beneficia, everyone understands the arrangement and boundaries are established and adhered to.

You see no moral difference between being in AGR and choosing to get railed on camera solely for money, and you also assume she would approach such relationships with the typical manipulative business-like "sugar baby" mentality while also assuming the same of all older men. Because apparently two people can't just like each other and see each other as more than assets to be exploited. Lol

Why are you so full of judgement and resentment lol And I know many AGR can be like that, but that's a generalization and a perspective that comes from a privileged middle-class background where (to generalize) wealth and status are the name of the game, money, fame and material possessions are worshipped as symbols of status and superiority, people who don't meet your exact expectations are "losers". You're more obsessed with creating an image and a brand than just being open and honest, and so…

I don't even fucking know whatever sexist insinuation you're trying to connect to the word "hysterical", I just thought it meant "getting overly emotional" irrespective of gender.

No racism intended, it was just a stereotypical "scene"

Why wouldn't you be as "not proud" of your daughter for dating an old guy as you would her getting railed by three black guys and "finished" on in front of millions of people? (Or even in private TBH) One of those is inherently undignified and shameful, and something that would disturb and disappoint me immensely, and test my love for her to its absolute limit (but not break it completely) because besides the exploitative nature of the industry it was still her blasé attitude towards sex and lac…

Saying you were hysterical had nothing to do with your gender, I was just saying you were blowing things out of proportion and sensationalising (is that a word?) things a little.

What personally bothers me is I just don't see how you can conflate public acts of promiscuity with a monogamous relationship, wouldn't you be more disappointed in your daughter for picking monetary gain (assuming her life doesn't depend on it, which it wouldn't if you were there) over self respect? Would you be okay knowing you have raised a whore? (And that's not necessarily an insult, just an accurate description, miss me with that "actor" shit) Not to mention the work hours, the contractual …

I kinda disagree with you on that lol, but a reasonable answer. But here's a hypothetical scenario: you have an 18yo daughter, would you rather find out your daughter was making porn, or monogamously dating a guy older than you, in private? And you have to pick one... because there's a gun pointed at your head for reasons I can't be bothered to create a backstory for. I'm not a writer.

While not always a good idea, an 18yo hooking up with an old dude is 9/10 times better and less destructive than doing porn, can we agree on that? Lol. And yes, I absolutely understand how there are significantly more people getting into AGR than there are doing porn, including people who don't have the sexual experience or mindset that someone doing porn has, and that such relationships can be problematic, but that's not usually the case, in fact the majority of the time they probably turn out …

Though you did say something about porn, defending Lily Phillips and the like. It still seems weird you think that's widely acceptable and that we should stop "shaming" them.

To be honest I find porn itself to be rather exploitative and unhealthy for people on both ends,! especially when "performers" can be as young as 18. We shouldn't be normalizing people who literally turned legal fucking strangers on camera to be used as fap material, a relationship with an older partner is risky enough for someone that age without the "partner" also being a multimillion dollar sex empire that profits from contractual sexual exploitation and incentivises doing increasingly extrem…

Oh, okay, that actually seems like a reasonable response, good to see you don't think AGR are inherently "manipulative". That was kinda the crux of my argument. And yes, referring to someone as an "inferior product" isn't particularly nice, but I'm not gonna hold it against OP, I don't think he meant to sound that provocative, and he did change it.

Okay, fine, but I still think you're a little hysterical with the whole Age Gap Thing. And since your insult was phrased as a question: Head trauma? No. Mental trauma? Absolutely. Mental retardation? That's up in the air lol.

Suuuure, porn of 18yos is okay, but dating one? Oh no, someone get Chris Hansen on the line! Also, considering how inherently creepy porn is and how normalised it's become, It's rich when people call others "creeps" for being willing to date or sleep with women the same age as the ones they have literally "watched" getting...well, you can imagine how messed up it was. Yeah, I still don't get how people will consume that and still call out AGR as if they're worse or something. And you are certain…

You still haven't answered the "porn good, age gap bad" part of your argument. If women are mature enough to be capable of making their own decisions, including something as exploitative and controversial as porn, then why would an older man's attraction to her be "manipulative", she's, according to you, a fully independent adult, and therefore any "manipulation" is something she, as an adult is equipped to handle. Why do you vilify men for their preferences? Okay, calling older women an "inferi…

Insecurities? Everyone does. Your original comment was just you venting your insecurities, but beyond that I just like moral consistency. Young woman doing porn? "Let her do what she likes, 20 is an adult, it's not your place to cast judgement" Older man wants to date, or even just fuck same younger woman: "This guy is a loser who can't get a woman his own age so he's taken to manipulating vulnerable young 20 year old kids... even though getting a woman his age would be way easier, but that does…

You say we shouldn't judge others for their sexual choices, yet you are being judgemental towards men's sexual preferences. You also imply that young women are mature enough for Porn yet somehow not enough for a private relationship.

And yet the thoughtless consumption of it is widely accepted to the point it's referenced on primetime TV and there's even a joke about it in a Disney Spider-Man movie and probably a few other MCU movies, which elevates it to awareness among people as young as 10 or 11. This is how they groom people into accepting it as the norm (because spoilers: the government makes big money from it and so wants to increase its visibility and therefore profitability) Also most 18yos wouldn't want to sleep wit…

It's socially acceptable for a 20yo to consent to a legal contract requiring her to literally get fucked on camera for people to jack off to, to turn the most intimate thing two people can do into an act, yet it wouldn't be acceptable for a 50yo to fuck an 18yo in private for fun. We need to re-evaluate our priorities. And you're seriously using step siblings as an example of what isn't real? There's a significant difference between the scripted "fantasy" the studios are trying to pass it off as…

Because both are just words, but both are filled with judgement and hatred. Dumbass

Then perhaps you should stop passing judgement on men's sexual preferences? So fucking what if a 40yo wants to hookup with an 18yo, as long as they both want it. Oh, wait, no, that would be predatory.....but porn is fine! Dispense with the hypocrisy.

What can I say? I just want people to be better than that. That behaviour should never be normalized, and nor should the industry that grooms people into thinking it is acceptable.

Off topic, here, but to answer the question, Not exactly. The trauma she caused herself with her own actions, and a moderate dose of public shame and mockery would suffice. lol Hopefully she moves away from porn and learns some self respect. Not to sound like a preacher but a normal job and a healthy, monogamous relationship with someone who loves her will make her feel much more "liberated". She seems like a nice person beneath all the bad decisions and leftist brainwashing.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 09:45 PM

You're missing the point. This is something normalized and promoted in mainstream family media. And yes, it's good to finally see some backlash against that, but in her case at 23 she's at the age where she's then one to blame. I'm 30, but as far as I'm concerned 23 is the age where I stop seeing women as vulnerable, and where the decision to enter a relationship or...what she did, is entirely hers to make and the consequences are hers to deal with.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 05:35 PM

I understand your point, but my counterpoint is that it has become so normalized and promoted that it needs to be talked about. If it's being joked about on primetime TV and even supposedly kid-friendly Disney superhero movies (one of the MCU Spider-Man movies IIRC) then it's obviously something the people in power want us to accept as normal, yet AGR or even hookups with people the same age as the ones "performing" in porn are "inappropriate", and they certainly have the potential to be but you…

Women care about material possessions and a man's ability to provide, and any woman who says that it's a not a big factor in choosing a relationship is lying. Also, an 18yo can be a soldier, cop or pornstar, so I'm fairly certain they can consent to fuck an old dude. I'm 30 and I'd be down to fuck an 18yo if she had a little experience and didn't want anything serious, of course I'm not turning that shit down. Though honestly that "inferior product" line is some Andrew Tate shit and I do not sup…

So with all this "20yos are kids" rhetoric, let's just address the elephant in the room: how do you all feel about 18-21 yos doing porn?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 03:15 AM
1

An age gap relationship, even with a POS like that is still less disturbing, exploitative and traumatizing than an 18yo doing porn or Onlyfans, at least it's private and there's one guy you know to blame if it does go wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 03:09 AM

I feel bad for them but most guys aren't like that, that I know anyway. just be glad they didn't do something worse like porn.

Yeah, you view 25yos as kids while jacking it to 20yos in porn. Don't lie about it. I'd like to see you justify that lol.

You sound like a real nasty piece of work, lady. You whine and screech at the thought of an older man having the audacity of being attracted to you, and immediately equate it to being "used" for your youth (which is disgusting misandrist generalisation, IMO) , yet are perfectly willing to use and exploit others for your personal gain, not because you actually care about another human being. In my country, we have a word for people like you, (regardless of gender), sorry to break it to you, but I…

It's just sex. Some hypothetical woman looking to get fucked is gonna get fucked regardless, her age, and the age of the dick she jumps on are irrelevant, the result is the same. Pardon the crudeness, but you get the point.
