I mostly enjoy being a man, myself.

Well the classic example would be hairpieces or hair transplants. Women can wear wigs or have hair extensions and it's not commonly ridiculed, but if a balding man wears a toupee then it's not considered acceptable in the mainstream. So much so that it's something I've often seen made fun of in TV/Movies for a laugh. To the person who is on the receiving end of this contempt and mockery, I can assure you that to them it feels quite hostile even if an outside observer wouldn't consider it so them…

The Marxist concept of power dynamics has crept into many facets of society, and the current narrative is that men are the ones with the power, so women (the victims) cannot be held responsible for any actions they take while interacting within the male/female power dynamic. Victim status is very powerful socially right now so this philosophy probably won't be going anywhere any time soon.

Oh, is it OK to kink shame someone now? I missed the memo.

That may be true, but those right wingers aren't the hypocritical ones who claim to be for equal rights/treatment and then turn their back on men in need.

Well since article comments are a 100% accurate sample of society's opinion on these things then you must be right, there isn't a single person out there who approves of what she did. You've cracked the code with your brilliant deductive skills.

That's the best part! White privilege is like original sin, so you got it on day one!

I'm sure there are plenty of misandrists out there defending her actions, including the writing of the book.

If there's any doubt of a 2nd date, he just does a "leave behind".

I think the OP's point was more the fact that they couldn't have said "no girls allowed" at that Tech Night, even if they desired to. Men are forced to allow women into any space they try to make male-exclusive by society.

They need someone to teach "Biology".

Oh yes because the dangerous information she's putting out there for all the world to know will only be used on people you politically disagree with. /s

Aside from the obvious misandry, the other problem is that the people getting writer jobs for these shows have no idea how to write. They can't do subtlety, so they just get right in your face with the message instead.

Oh, but you see there's nuance there. These women could get some if they so chose. Single men, on the other hand, are never, ever, celibate by choice. /s

I bet you're right, they think R2D2's shape is closer to something a lesbian might enjoy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
