Ah, switching it up when called out. Cute. Women fight with each other plenty. Lots of heated debates. And if we simply look at appearance and social behavior, men live in a much more limited box than women do because they're adhering to the status quo and there's safety in social acceptance. A guy must adhere to masculine norms. Women fought for the right to not adhere to feminine norms. Maybe look at things without the lens of "women are inferior." A whole new world will open up for you. Maybe…

Every guy I know IRL understands why women picked the bear. Hell, a co-worker side-eyed me because I thought about it and said honestly, I'd pick the random dude over the random bear. Guys who don't get it simply don't understand how much scary shit women deal with from men, and worse, they often don't believe us. I've had men tell me I'm lying when I say multiple men have yelled at me for not wanting their number when they randomly approached me in public! If your reaction to women being scared…

Then why are lesbians way more likely than straight couples to have sex only once a month or less? Because a man isn't around. Lesbians have higher quality sex less frequently. I'll be real, every time I've been in a relationship I start to get frustrated because men want to get off frequently and think something's wrong if I'm not down for shitty sex almost daily. It's like living with a sex pest.

The forgetting until the day of can be a problem though. One thing that's always driven me insane when I lived with men was them not remembering things until the day of. "I have a party invite, it's in 2 hours." Oh great! I had planned on a lazy day and am rocking a messy bun and zero makeup and now instead of the things I had to do, I have to get ready to go to this party. "I forgot I had an appointment tonight" text at 4:30pm. Okay cool! I'm making a dinner that doesn't reheat well and would h…

It can be that serious though. I remember a woman posting that her husband was upset because they did way more with her family than his. They'd go to her niece's birthday parties, her brother-in-law's anniversary parties, etc. She had to point out that she bothered to stay in touch with her family while he didn't bother to stay in touch with his, so that's why they spent more time with her family. And let's not pretend men never offload labor of birthdays or Christmas onto women. My ex often lef…

I've observed a lot of heated discussions between men and women. Men interrupt constantly. They barely let the woman get a word in edgewise. And they've studied this - not only do men interrupt other people more than women, but they interrupt women more than men. This was true even of Supreme Court justices. They've also studied how men and women talk. Women-only groups tend to focus on taking turns and letting everyone speak. Men-only groups interrupt and compete for speaking time. So pair a ma…

How are the women prostitutes in this situation?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 08:35 AM

I'm not understanding the problem. Women get the security they want while men get the sex they want. I used to hang with swingers and I loved the rules! Single women could join freely since they were rare, single men had to be approved by at least one couple there since the guys who showed up solo were often creepy, and yes, the men had to give more money to be there. If it works, what's the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 08:33 AM

This sounds like anxious attachment on her part. I thrive when my partner is loving and affectionate, which thankfully he consistently is. When men pull back or get distant, I have a negative reaction to that. I broke it off with a guy for playing it too cool. I'm a very consistently affectionate person and I expect the same in return.

This is just weird to me. I know pretty quickly if I think a guy is relationship material or not and if I have strong enough feelings for him to want more than just sex. (And I'm absolutely fine admitting when I just want to have sex, there's no lying to myself here.) You're also overlooking that some women definitely don't sleep with everyone they go out with, but when they meet a guy they see as a potential boyfriend, they're happy to sleep with him after a few dates while wanting a relationsh…

This is where people need to worry less about being appealing to as many people as possible and just be themselves if they're looking for a relationship. Casual sex, sure, cast a broad net. I'll never forget a crush realizing I was an Android girl and the look of complete disgust on his face. And my corresponding feeling of omg no, he's an iPhone snob?! That just wouldn't work 😂 Happily with a fellow Android guy now. A woman who's super into appearances or fashion might indeed scoff at a smartwa…

Nah, they just don't kick up as much of a fuss about it, online or otherwise. I've known them. Usually either physically very unattractive or bad personality, sometimes both. Women tend to blame themselves if they can't get men. Women are told from birth we need to be pretty and accommodating to others. So if you're not pretty, it's a logical conclusion that men won't want you. So they don't typically rant that men are shallow because they've never had the expectation that they're not. Sure, del…

This is such a painfully simplistic take but it's what passes for dialogue on here. Dating advice is trash nowadays because everyone wants to boil complex humans down into easy-to-follow rules. I promise you an attractive woman with a good personality and a high body count is more appealing to men, even for serious, than an unattractive virgin or low body count woman who's dull. That's how it works. For men, having good social skills and game and being attractive are often but not always correla…

A guy I knew was forced to see a psychiatrist after an incident at his eye doctor. He was prescribed an anti-depressant and told to go to therapy. He didn't take the med and only went to one therapy session. He also didn't stop drinking heavily even though that was worsening his mental health issues. As someone who's struggled myself, you do at a certain point have to acknowledge that your own actions aren't helping or even causing your problems. And I do take issue with the fact that so many me…

We do put in effort though. A guy shows up for a date in a wash & go hairstyle, all of his body hair, zero makeup, zero form-flattering outfit, & probably little concern that this woman might slip something in his drink or harm him. Before a date, I exfoliate my legs, underarms, & pubic region, shave, and put on lotion. I pluck my eyebrows, upper lip hair, nipple hair, & belly hair. I wash & condition & style my hair. I put on a cute or sexy outfit and shoes and accessories. I put on makeup. I p…

Based on your comments in this thread, you genuinely seem to think of giving someone else pleasure as inherently degrading, which is such a sad outlook I don't have words. You told one person only small-dicked men like giving head. Not at all true. Some of the biggest guys I've been with absolutely loved giving head. A lot of people deeply enjoy giving their partner pleasure. It's not weird or unusual; that's how it should be. And cum doesn't taste disgusting. In fact our sense of disgust is dim…

Even just a quick Google search of people pleasing brings up articles about why it's problematic and not something to strive for. Remain ignorant, I guess. It's amazing watching guys on Purple Pill Debate pull theories about people out of their asses (if you have a source on how people pleasing is a great thing, please, share!), be so wrong it's painful to read, and still manage to get cocky and insult people. I'm really tired of having conversations with people who have no idea what they're talking about. Ask any therapist if people pleasing is a healthy behavior. It's not. If anything people pleasing builds resentment and passive aggression over time and leaves the person with less energy to truly give of themselves to others. I used to be a people pleaser. I have way more energy to give to people now that I don't do that shit. People pleasing isn't altruistic, it's a trauma response where you're te…

People pleasers are not more altruistic and morally better. People pleasing is an artificial attempt to get people to like you by molding yourself to whatever it is you think others want. It's usually seen as a trauma response in the psych community. It's also considered manipulative because you're basically expecting others to like you if you suck up to them. Deep down, no one really likes a people pleaser. You can be a good and moral person without being a people pleaser, and that would be pre…

Women lose sexual desire when they live with someone. I've experienced this myself. It's not because I molded my ex into anything, it's because this person suddenly feels more like your brother than a sexual partner. And part of it is simply seeing the guy lounging around in his sweatpants all the time. Seeing him constantly in humdrum daily life. With my ex I kept explaining why date nights are important to me - I wanted him to be sexy. I wanted him in a nice outfit and not those same sweatpant…

Dating has been much better in my 30s than in my 20s as a woman. I'm more confident, I know what I want, and I'm very quick to stop seeing someone who behaves in ways I don't like instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt like younger me did. I'm surprised you mentioned children - the vast majority of women in my friend group don't want kids, and there are plenty of men like us. That changes the dating game quite a bit. There's also way more women willing to date younger these days, and mo…

That's not really the case these days. I know 2 different 35-yo women whose boyfriends are in their late 20s. And a lot of guys I know in their 20s will say they don't think of women in their 30s as that much older than them. One woman I know who's in her 40s was with a guy in his late 20s. For some reason this subreddit seems to assume the world works in strict gendered ways, and that's just not reality anymore. I've watched women divorce in their 40s or 50s and find a new partner quickly. A fa…

The idea that a woman loses power once she "provides" sex is so laughably wrong I've never understood why people believe it. If a guy only wants sex from her, that's not going to change whether she has sex with him or not. There are women who wait to have sex for awhile, only to discover the guy was playing her once she has sex with him. If a guy actually likes her, that doesn't change once she has sex. And it's not like once she has sex with him, she can't speak up on her needs and wants. She a…

Nah, I quite like dominant men and have always had sex quickly. Guys who are good with women are used to getting sex easily. In my experience, they're not as concerned about the woman pretending to be a prize by making them wait for sex; they're concerned with their partner's personality for long-term compatibility and overall sexual compatibility. Dating between two people with high body counts is really chill tbh. You're either compatible or you're not. There's not any game-playing. I find you…

You're not wrong, but not fully right either. Do most women like tall guys with medium+ dicks and a healthy dose of confidence? Sure. But I like thin guys and have friends who can't stand thin guys, they want muscles or some huskiness. I'm not normally into tattoos, while many women love tattoos. I love guys who are weird or nerdy, while other women want more normal or bro-y guys. Thanks for the further explanation. Tbh, I've read so many articles saying women get bored with monogamy sooner than men do that this doesn't completely surprise me. It's just even the people studying this assume women just stop having sex when their sexual attraction to their partners dies. Sounds like they very much do not. So they have the steady guy at home, our culture in no way prepares them for the reality they're going to get sick of fucking him, and then apparently they cheat. I've expe…

This is the first post that's ever made me as a woman understand men's fear of promiscuity/being cheated on, so kudos for that. What you've said here is absolutely horrifying. I can't imagine not having good sex with a long-term partner and don't pretend to understand why women choose to date men they're apparently not sexually attracted to. I would rather be single. If a guy is witnessing everything you've said here, it makes 100% sense he wouldn't trust women easily.

A LOT of men get very angry when we don't want to talk to them. I've been insulted, screamed at, had a guy leave drunk rambling messages calling me a stuck-up bitch for years afterward. One guy at a coffee shop wouldn't leave me alone when asked, another guy told him to back off, he threatened to fight that guy. I don't feel at all bad telling a complete stranger to leave me alone. I didn't meet any. I was independent. I've seen sex workers online share my view; others are happy to see clients they don't respect. To be fair, plenty of the guys who queried me were not men I respect; that's why I didn't meet up with them. But I have a tremendous sympathy for the male sex drive, so I'm not personally offended if a guy pays for it, is all I'm saying. I'd judge a guy who treats sex workers poorly, but paying for sex by itself isn't a red flag to me.

The point flew over your head so hard it's astonishing. As a woman, you get guys who flip out at you because you weren't interested after one date. Or try to sexually assault you on a date. You read news stories about women murdered on a first date, or tortured for days and THEN murdered. You can be horny as possible and still, the possibilities of rape, sexual assault, angry dude not taking rejection well and stalking you for months after you said no, well, all of that weighs on you to the poin…

Study after study shows that while most men SAY they prefer no makeup, they are more likely to contact women on dating apps wearing makeup and choose pictures of women wearing natural-looking makeup over women wearing no makeup. Any woman could tell you this without a study being needed, but the studies are numerous. Go ahead and Google. Most guys think natural makeup looks are "no makeup" because they have no idea.

You're really assuming women hate other women here, and underestimating how much shit fat women get for being fat. I support body positivity because a close friend has gotten more shit for being fat than I ever got for smoking cigarettes, which is gross and unhealthy as hell, but hey, I'm thin! He moved into her place and promptly stopped cooking and cleaning within a few months. They can lack confidence and still not really understand what other people they're dating want from them. In fact I'd argue a lack of self-confidence often makes a person self-centered and less aware of others' needs. "I don't know how to talk to people at parties" - try assuming other people are nervous too and chat them up "I'm nervous on dates" So. Is. Your. Date. You didn't even really make your own point in this post, you just rambled. I missed the part where a woman changed her tone because she supposedly ran out of options. Have you ever looked at a bunch of guys' profiles vs. a bunch of girls'? The number of men who have awful pics is low-key astonishing. We all tend to get lazy in LTRs because our brains aren't flooded with infatuation anymore, and we're used to the person. Love that you brought the stats! So rare lol. I can completely agree that once the kids are in school, SAHMs have plenty of free time. No excuse to be lazy. Infant to toddler age, not so much, depending on the kids. Some infants/toddlers are 24/7 or even just 16/7 so I would hope even a partner who works helps out once they get home during that stage. That same study (Tech Crunch covered this) found that those women would turn right around and message men they had just rated "less attractive than average." This baffled the people who did the study; why would women do that? Meanwhile men rated women on a normal bell curve, yet 2/3 of messages from men went to the top 1/3 of women. That's spouted constantly on Red Pill/PUA forums.

I was citing statistics on relationships, not my personal preferences. I'm not saying women never date older, I'm saying most women don't want older. You can Google it: most women want someone their own age.

If everyone's willing and you're not the 40something whining he can't get younger women, I'm not talking about you. We tend to repeat parents' patterns so it's not surprising you & your partner both come from age gap relationships - you're repeating what you grew up with. Age gap relationships are still rare. A lot of younger women think they want to run away with Daddy until Daddy turns out to be controlling and clingy. And often the younger woman's finances are a factor. Also you're both adult…

Good analysis, don't disagree with your points here. Just warning men they age too, and your average 45yo man isn't the shit to your average 25yo woman. Which I'm sure you agree with. I have seen women age spectacularly though. Skincare products aren't voodoo; things like sunscreen & retinol & argireline & vitamin C work wonders. It's chemistry. It's hard to take men seriously about the dangers of aging when I watch older women get lusted after and into serious relationships easily. Nursing home…

This is beyond refreshing to read as a woman! Yes...our economy sucks. And many young women do a legal version of prostitution where they live with or marry an older guy (and in many cases they do feel like they love them, so I'm not judging, just observing). The older guys don't want to hear or admit that they wouldn't have their young partner if she weren't financially desperate. They're akin to the guys who date women from financially destitute countries and then act shocked Pikachu face when…

Amused I as a woman gave you the men's advice but also not surprised. What do women tell you to do?

As a former hooker, no. Men still want a respectable woman on their arm for their friends & family. The hooker exists in a separate world of pure sexual fulfillment.

Sex is more easily enjoyable to men than to women. That's all. It shouldn't surprise you women are choosier about sex skills than men.

I don't mind most of the examples but dating a woman who doesn't have economic options is...wow. Then men complain when she leaves him after getting an education and her green card. What did you expect there...?

Women vary more than men, from what I've read. Most men: constantly horny. Few women: constantly horny. Most women: intermittently horny. Few women: almost or never horny. Then y'all judge the constantly horny, which is hilarious. Might as well judge candy for being willing to be eaten.

The problem is the weird insistence on strict rules rather than actual human relationships. Lots of women like to be dominated...in bed. Best of luck thinking you're in charge otherwise. Every single happy LTR I know is two partners who give and take as best they can. Anything else is a red pill fantasy where MAN RULES WOMAN DEALS.

It's not cheating, it's "they're not long-term material." A guy who's attractive and funny or charming but doesn't have his shit together and would clearly be awful for an LTR.

That sounds very good for you. I've seen countless online stories of women who made him wait only to get dumped once he got sex.

1) Why are you asking me to guess which guy between a guy obsessed with a woman's consent during rapeplay and an actual rapist gives more orgasms? If the answer isn't obvious to you I'm scared. 2) I already agreed men good in bed get a woman's limits. I'm telling you dark triad men enjoy pushing limits, not respecting them. Ask anyone in trauma from being with one of those creeps, they are not the same thing. If you worship dark triad men cuz you think women get off on being hurt, I'm sorry for …

The insane part is overall, this woman had far better social skills than I did. That's how hard women are taught to not be forward with men. It sucks for everyone.

You get she needs to desire sex for it to happen, right? If you think sex is something she gives you cuz you're in an LTR, you're fucked. Women's sexuality is mental. She needs a scene set up, some seduction. Too many guys woo a woman to get her but once she's "his" girlfriend or wife, sex is now owed. The date nights stop. Any effort on his end stops. She's still shaving everything below the eyebrows, doing her hair and makeup, wearing cute outfits...he rolls over at bedtime with a hard dick ex…

Women who judge escorts are either scared of sex or don't see their own sexual self-worth. Former escort here, no women really cared or judged me except a friend who saw herself as unattractive and ended up in an "open relationship" with a guy who barely paid attention to her and fucked/doted on other women. She also seemed to think women who liked sex couldn't possibly be taken seriously. Ended up doing free web cams for guys to get sexual validation later in life. Sad af to witness tbh. And he…

Nympho and former escort here, exactly. I have kinks. I got paid hundreds of dollars per hour to indulge in them. It was a great time. And I shot dodgy men down harder than some single women simply looking to date.

Former escort here and some of the best nights/sex of my life were as an escort. Funniest 2 clients were the ones who asked if I had daddy issues - sir you are paying me hundreds of dollars to spend an hour with me and you think I have low self-esteem?

As a former sex worker, I assure you zero people bought me. My current normie job buys me harder than any past John ever did. I give up way more of myself as a human being at this job than I did having sex with horny dudes.

The top only fans women usually have a following on other platforms or are already semi-famous. Anyway there's a reason most women don't choose that path and you've just told us a lot about yourself by admitting that's what you'd do.

Meh, a lot of women slut it up while young and then settle down later. It's a pretty typical life phases thing. My dad told me in my early 20s that I'd get older and realize sex wasn't everything. The man was 100% right.

18 isn't 25. I get why many men date younger. A 25yo woman, as you pointed out, is carefree and doesn't have life baggage yet. But 18? She's a baby adult. There's a reason people side-eye guys in their 30s dating women that age. I knew an older guy dating an 18yo (and by dating I mean he had a sugar baby); he constantly complained the sex was terrible and she was immature. Yeah, dude. You're "dating" someone who's barely had sexual experience and whining she's not a pornstar. You're dating a tee…

The idea sex with a guy can impair my ability to pair-bond is honestly hilarious. The red pill philosophy seems to be rooted in a deep insecurity around women. If she's had casual sex, she's ruined! She won't ever truly love a man! When I was 24 I had a 32yo man tell me he couldn't be with a woman who's had too many partners because one of them would be better in bed than he was, and he needed to be the best she'd ever had or she wouldn't truly love him. I'm really grateful to him for expressing…

I haven't thought about the guy I lost my virginity to since a week after I lost my virginity. Haven't thought about my first boyfriend in ages. The idea women are overcome by the men they fuck is a male perspective that is honestly bizarre.

God forbid a woman enjoy showing off her loved one. And I say that as a woman with zero social media. Most men I know mention their wife or girlfriend, I can't imagine making a big deal out of that or claiming they're bragging to others.

I did not in any way pressure or shame him to date. I pointed out reality: most of us have fewer options with age. A 50yo isn't a 25yo.

Women are telling you that they've made guys wait for sex and he still hit it and quit it. Why are you confused? I've never made guys wait for sex because I love sex and don't really care if he doesn't call. It's easy to tell who really likes you and who doesn't when you put out immediately. Women trying to play the game of making him wait to see if he's serious have it far harder. Some guys will wait weeks or months just to dump; some actually get more turned on by the idea of "conquering" a wo…

As a woman I can't help but agree. I had to explain to a single friend that the reason men bought me drinks in bars and didn't for her was I smiled at guys I found attractive. She thought this was insanely forward when we were at a bar with 2 guy friends and the men around us don't know we're not with them; they're not mind-readers. Women are taught to play hard to get, but on a dating app, that's honestly just stupid. And when I joined Bumble BFF last year to meet other women as friends, I was …

You're young. Remember that. Dating does get rougher for a lot of men after 40, but 32? Yeah, enjoy yourself.

I've watched men decide they need to get married because everyone else their age is getting married. Plenty of men care about social norms too. Then there's men who will keep a woman they're seeing a secret because she's too fat/unattractive/uncouth for his social circle, so again, men do care.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 02:42 AM

The same, imo. I've watched guys feel the need to pick the hottest women they can for marriage even though they had nothing in common. You can imagine how that went. I'm a woman who doesn't care about height and has dated men my friends deemed "below" me looks-wise - I got a lot of shit for both. I don't care, but it became clear to me many women are deeply concerned with how other people view their partners. The best people don't care about social bullshit; I tend to date them.

I'm a woman in a women's book club, and recently every single woman said she needed a guy who was at least 6 feet. One said at least 6'2" cuz why not have that standard? Their damn heads exploded when I said only 14.5% of men in the US are 6'+. They were stunned. And one of them has whined about men being attracted to thin women. God forbid he has standards just like she does.

I've never asked a guy friend to do any of these things. It's true some women use their guy friends. I knew a couple of girls like that in my 20s, but I found it hard to respect them because of that. But the idea it's a hard fast rule that all women use guy friends as pseudo-boyfriends is silly, and easily avoided by you as a man having boundaries.

Point 3 really misses the mark here. I've done rapeplay. Those men were OBSESSED with consent, to the point they wanted lists of what they could and couldn't do so they wouldn't make me uncomfortable. They also wanted to know what would make it more fun for me. Dark triad men are going to actually hurt someone for their own pleasure. They're the rapists & manipulators of the world of men. I have always been attracted to guys with a high level of empathy, and believe it or not, a guy who can domi…
