Completely disagree. Capitalism compels us to become completely fixated on status, be it economic, social, cultural etc attractiveness is just another form of status capital of course humans largely have an inherent need to be attracted to their partners but what is considered could attractive could be more varied and individualised if humanity were no longer completely consumed by constantly competition for status among each other

what are they supposed to say? “Women don’t like you because you’re ugly”? No one except an absolute psychopath is ever going to just say something like that to another person lol so they just say some generic bullshit like “oh just be yourself” etc etc

I mean most women aren’t like dating criminals or anything if you trend online because you’re a very good looking criminal and thousands of women see your picture of course a few of them are going to start writing to the guy or whatever the vast majority of women aren’t penpals with guys in jail though

I don’t think you can become top of 10 percent but you can make yourself above average, which should be enough to have a decent shot at finding a partner losing weight and building some muscle will already put you above a lot of other men Good haircut and personal style will help you stand out I don’t think you can really improve your social skills tbh but if you make yourself more attractive/less unattractive people will pay more attention to you and you will become more confident if you are st…

I would consider myself a marxist and a socialist, I see the problems of dating and just loneliness and alienation in society largely as a result of capitalism

I agree to an extent actually, so many women’s main interest and focus in life is literally just dating and trying to be attractive and desirable if they had more going on in their lives, rather than just a fixation on being beautiful they would be able to see men as equals and human beings and not just a vehicle for validation i actually think this is one of the main contributors to the “dating crisis” in society at the moment

I feel mean casting doubt on peoples identities but almost every woman I’ve dated has claimed to be bisexual and yet admitted to having basically no experience dating other women or had a brief phase of trying to date women and gave up because it was just too hard lol so I don’t think “women are just dating other women” really explains anything

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
