You realize that the majority of women at that really were likely university educated right?

The fact that the story is likely made up makes it even more cringey. The only thing missing is the applause from the rest of the gym patrons.

Wtf is premix? I think I would have felt awkward in your situation. I don't like the idea of drinking off another man's dime, even if he is an idiot. I probably would've sent him a pint later in the night.

You discount people for their personal preferences? Most women enjoy cocktails because they're high in sugar and taste sweeter than beer.

Who in the ever loving fuck takes a first date to McDonald's. Christ, no wonder she scrammed. I'm not saying you have to get bottle service on the first night, but McDick's?? LOL

I suggest alcohol over coffee though Correct, every first date should involve alcohol.

The only thing I can glean from this story is that the girl in question is a complete nutjob. The guy might be a beta, but this story is just an unfortunate incident of running into someone who has a deep lack of social awareness, which I can't fault him for.

It's easy for a reason. You're having sex with the social discards, not from the cream of the crop. It will damage your reputation, attractive girls don't want to sleep with a guy who is a bottom feeder.

It partially answers. I think that ladies in their 30-40's are as equally interested in experimentation as girls in their 20's, but that's a minor detail. The major hangup I have is the kids. Kids literally suck the fun out of everything (when they're not yours of course). Her daughters are FULL GROWN and they are still sucking the fun out of everything. Anyways, main point is that women with kids should be avoided because there are much better options out there.

Why are you attempting to date a 41 year old woman with kids. This is like bottom of the reject barrel.

I am sure many on here can tell you the average Woman spends no time even trying to make herself look remotely attractive That's absolutely delusional. The average women in her 20's takes a lot of time to look attractive. Go to any college bar, you will see that the majority of girls put a lot of effort into their appearance. My gf and her roommates need at least an hour to get ready before we go out....and that's been my experience with most girls.

I've always paid for 100% of the bill on every date I've been on. Not for retarded chauvinistic reasons though, I pay for pragmatic reasons. Girls spend more on pre-date expenditures, haircuts, hair products, makeup, clothing, time getting ready etc. If we were to split the bill it wouldn't be financially fair. So for the sake of equity I will continue to pay the whole bill on the first few dates. I know this is not going to be a popular viewpoint here, so flame away.

The reason you didn't get laid is because they didn't want to have sex with you. Nothing to do with pressure.

If everyone has their own definition, it defeats the purpose of language. Everyone understands that integrity is determined by your levels of honesty and moral behavior. Having a threesome with two girls (when you're single) is morally neutral and can't affect your integrity.

I think consumer/producer is the wrong way to look at it. You are still consuming leisure when you're out surfing. You prefer an active lifestyle to a passive lifestyle - I do to, it's much more interesting. Watching tv at home is passive but drinking socially in a bar is the exact opposite, it's an engaging activity. Having such a negative stance on alcohol is a bit confusing. This is not my opinion, just my experience, but when you tell people you don't drink most people will assume something …

In the past 2 years I cut out 100% of my guy friends who drink socially Drinking socially is a completely normal activity. lol you even drink socially yourself, so I'm not sure why would exclude anyone on that basis.

Kowtowing to feminist male-shaming. There is absolutely nothing wrong with engaging other people in public. The idea that people 'just want to be left alone' is projecting your own insecurity. I never said you couldn't engage anyone. We're social creatures, there's nothing wrong with striking up a conversation in a line at the grocers. I do have a problem with stopping someone who is clearly walking somewhere - you don't know their situation, they could be in a rush. Hot girls are a dime a dozen…

I'm 22 and I agree, clubs are not fun for everyone. But it's not like the only option is to pick up girls on the street or clubs. There's lounges, live music bars, sports clubs etc all of which are much better for meeting girls than randomly on the street.

Well said, coffee is probably one of the worst date ideas, next to a movie. Extremely boring, and if it's during the day you can't really transition the date into anything romantic. Hot girls in their 20's don't want long walks on the beach and coffee, they want fun, excitement, and sex. Coffee dates also don't include alcohol, a first date should involve alcohol so that the conversation is flowing and less awkward.

Getting rejected is not fun, you think being rejected repeatedly is good for your self esteem? It's not, don't bullshit yourself. It's important to distinguish rejection from non-interest. Rejection is when you ask for a number, sex, kiss etc and get turned down. Non-interest is when you are sending out signals and she is not reciprocating, I don't classify that as rejection though. People who are very socially aware and good at picking up cues and reading body language will pretty much never ge…

You don't need friends to go to bars. In fact, bars are one of the best places to make new friends since it's a social atmosphere and people want to socialize. Stop hitting on girls outside of bars, it's not going to work for you.

I actually can't believe you hit on 1000 girls and struck out every time. Well, I can believe it, but did you ever stop and think that whatever you're doing is not working? Are you hitting on them at the bus stop? That's retarded, you need to interact with girls at a social setting like a bar. Work on self improvement, can't stress that enough, become successful.

I've never been to /r/seduction, I do have some comments on PUA . Whenever I see PUA lingo in TRP I always cringe, can people just talk like normal human beings? It also doesn't help that most of the PUA community is infested by losers and nerds. It's been a long time since I've read any PUA material, but most of it can be boiled down to: 1) common sense that will be painfully obvious to anyone who is moderately social, 2) Stuff that works, but only if you're good looking in which case you don't…

I would stop being friends with him, or at least stop going to bars with him for a few months so he can get his shit together. He sounds completely socially awkward, and believe it or not that reflects poorly on you too. People/girls will judge you on the company you keep and they will assume negative things about you if you hang out with losers.

and I still want to take chances whenever I can - it's not like I'll ever see any of them again, right? Come again? Why are you so certain you will never see them again? Did this event take place in imagination land or in the real world? If you both live in the same city and have active social lives, there's actually a good chance you will run into at least one of them again. Even if you live in a city of 8m+ like NYC there is still a reasonable chance since people are creatures of habit and fre…

I'm surprised this happens somewhat regularly for you. I go out to bars and clubs at least 2 times a week and I don't think I've ever seen a girl flat out ask for a drink, not including strippers. If there are girls I know at the bar I'll buy them a drink, but I do it with no expectations, just to be friendly and to increase the party atmosphere.
