I make software, it took time to make the software that I make for people. Though you're right: once you've made it you just paste it again. Or do you mean that developers just bastardize existing libraries and existing open source work? Also: once you design a toy for example, you just "copy paste" it in some Chinese factory and you can sell it. So how is software development special in that respect?
