Exactly. You will have an easier time doing this with grappling and control as opposed to striking. This is just my opinion. I have trained striking and grappling but the last 5 years has been grappling exclusively. I tried Krav Maga for like 6 months. To be honest, I am 100% more confident in my abilities specializing in an art. In my opinion Krav Maga is a good introduction for people who have never trained before.

Never try to engage in a fist fight with a man. Its a recipe for a disaster. I dont care if you take krav maga or are a boxer. The type of man that will hit you back will do serious damage to you. The difference in upper body strength is too great to overcome. Try a grappling art like judo or Brazilian jiu jitsu.
