Not sure why you’re not getting many real straightforward answers… To answer your question: I think you’re over complicating it. As someone else said, your human so cut yourself a bit of slack, it’s natural to feel irritated/angry, or any similar emotion. The part where frame comes in, is how you handle the situation externally vs internally. To elaborate, in this situation you feel anger, justifiably. Very unfortunate. I find it genuinely cool how he frames not exposing the folks who did it, as a strength. Of course, not everyone would do the same. That he mentioned it, says a lot. That aside, he sounds like an Islamophobe. Islam says absolutely nothing about ‘killing the victim’, and it almost makes it a bit hard to believe he grew up in a culture of folks who know the religion, yet in all this time since he hasn’t bothered to fact check?

I agree. This applies across the board… unless your Muslim, and marry a women who truly believes, and practices it internally and externally. A god fearing woman; honoured in her rights, yet held in check by morals, and immediate + eternal consequences. if I weren’t Muslim, I would’ve never gotten married.
