In this day and age what is the best way to get married and start a family? There's horror stories about the bad things that can happen for any decision you make. For every person who owns a successful business, there are stories of people ending up broke. I don't have a list, and I second reading the sidebar for additional details. The big thing is that you have to continue to be an interesting person or your spouse will lose interest in you. The biggest trap for couples is that they fall into being roommates when they start living together. You have to be deliberate t… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 06/08/17 08:11 PM
In this day and age what is the best way to get married and start a family?Like all things in life there is risk for any worthwhile reward. Marriage is a worthwhile risk in my opinion. Think about all of the truly successful people in your life. They're all married or at least mine are. The best way is to meet someone and date them for long enough to make sure you're compatible once the honeymoon stage is over. I met my wife in undergrad and we dated for 7 years before making it official. We had shared friend groups that made the initial introductions easier. Regardles… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 06/08/17 07:34 PM
How to Change Bitchy Attitude and Make My Wife "Nicer"?I received the same advice regarding a former boss of mine. Super liberating. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 16/12/16 12:53 PM
2yo causing a rift in the marriage, wife hit me in reactionThere's really no good solution to domestic violence because you will automatically be seen as the aggressor unless you document the crap out of her abuse. Your best solution is to give her the cold shoulder. She's going to be very apologetic for her actions, but this is mostly for her own benefit. She is expecting you to comfort her when she apologizes. You shouldn't, and your best solution is to pull away after expressing that her actions will not be tolerated. My wife once slapped me when we … | /r/MarriedRedPill | 01/11/16 10:39 AM

If you want a friend get a dog. If you want loyalty get a dog. If you want a chick magnet get a dog. Just get a dog.My dog is four months old. She doesn't nip or jump on me anymore because that isn't how she gets me to show her affection. I don't pet her unless she has four paws on the floor. It's kind of funny to watch now, but she'll walk up to me a sit down expecting me to pet her. Super cute, and I reward that behavior 100% of the time. | /r/TheRedPill | 17/10/16 02:10 PM

If you want a friend get a dog. If you want loyalty get a dog. If you want a chick magnet get a dog. Just get a dog. It's hard to adjust your lifestyle, but it's defeatist to assume that your life is unchangeable. I agree that some people cannot own dogs because their life cannot accommodate that. Most people's lives are not set in stone like that. Everyone has the ability to improve their current situation if they choose to. | /r/TheRedPill | 17/10/16 01:32 PM
If you want a friend get a dog. If you want loyalty get a dog. If you want a chick magnet get a dog. Just get a dog.I work full time and I'm getting an MBA from one of the top universities in the US. Needless to say, I'm busy. The biggest thing I've done over the past three years to improve my life is to eliminate my commute. I had an hour and a half commute one way when I was living in Chicago, so I made the decision when I moved to my current city that I would always pay more to not have a commute. Everyone should do this for their own sanity. The only thing you cant get more of in this life is time. I wake… | /r/TheRedPill | 17/10/16 01:25 PM
If you want a friend get a dog. If you want loyalty get a dog. If you want a chick magnet get a dog. Just get a dog.Just adopted a puppy. I was not prepared for the amount of work that is needed, but the experience has been a blast! You just have to adjust your lifestyle to taking care of another being. I'm two months in, and here are some of the personal benefits that I've found: Having a dog forces you to make a schedule and stick with it. No more snoozing my alarm because I want to sleep in. Having a dog forces you to go outside and socialize. Dog parks are perfect for practicing day game. Having a dog mak… | /r/TheRedPill | 17/10/16 12:42 PM
Are Compound Exercises Enough For Your Abs?I understand. The issue is that abdominal strength is not the sticking point for most people at the gym. I would argue that poor form is a bigger driver. Given that people have a limited time at the gym, that time would be better spent on developing functional strength than doing isolated ab movements. Lunges are a great alternative that will do more to better your deadlift and squat than crunches or planks. | /r/TheRedPill | 05/10/16 02:09 PM
| -2 | Are Compound Exercises Enough For Your Abs?Most people's issue is that their bodyfat percentage is too high to visibly see defined abs, not that their workout routine is subpar. No one should worry about abs until they're sub 15% (sub 12% if we're honest). | /r/TheRedPill | 05/10/16 01:06 AM |
