I doubt the whiteness improved the support. White lives are just as expendable as black lives, because as we all know... (only)Black Lives Matter.

One line in one paragraph explaining how this is an issue that affects men. "According to the Guardian’s figures, the average age of a rough sleeper at death was 43, nearly half the UK life expectancy. Around 90% of those who died in the last five years were men, when the gender was provided." So, around 90% being 99.9% then, yeah...?

Likely more to do with biology than society or psychology. Male violence is more damaging, for sure, but women get away with it far more and have more formidable victims on average. The Duluth model uses these facts to punish males to the maximum, even as victims.

Men are also suffering the most violent crime... Being passive is not a sensible response to that.

https://imgur.com/a/G34iM Not an entirely good faith response from my part. I think they're just indoctrinated from a young age personally but I did find the article amusing when considering it alongside feminism.

I wouldn't make the same points, or accept them! That's all. After all, feminism says that both genders are socialised appropriately with no differences and thus all must be the same.o

... I mean, I don't think anyone is claiming that we should inflict autism on people as it's often connected to many other issues such as social anxiety, irrational phobias, OCD and can affect social, physical and mental health depending on the scale... Not that I'd look down on someone with Autism because of that, but I wouldn't inflict it on my children. If I were someone who believed that there was a reasonable risk of my child getting autism because of a treatment, I would not allow my child…

Okay, related to vaccines, let's think about the 'Vaccines cause autism' idea rather than vaccines as a precaution. You've heard that vaccines cause autism, so you avoid vaccines. This is an unhealthy way to act. I think we're arguing a similar point though?

And of course, such sexism hurts both sides, but when the ideas are out there that women will do nothing but crush your lives and feed you to your own dog, people are, logically, going to shy away from women unless they're very free-minded individuals. It's the same reasoning as to why women say that they'd feel unsafe alone in public spaces because they're afraid. It might not make sense (it doesn't, you're more likely to die in a day from a number of multiple causes than be attacked by a stran…

We should give the same level of support to everyone regardless of the different parts that make up their identity and biology. As you point out, some types of support aren't appropriate for the issue, you wouldn't send a dyslexic child to a maths tutor and you wouldn't send an injured person to the fire station, because that's not meeting the needs of the individual. To use an example based on sex... I don't believe that a woman should receive a higher standard of medical care when she is burnt…

Emotion is a good persuasive tool, but it's important to realise that while emotions are linked to our instincts, we're not clairvoyant and that emotions can be used against us in many ways. I personally, am far more likely to be more by a logical appeal than one claiming that all the pandas are dying and this is very sad. While the pandas dying is sad, tiny violin, I'd rather hear about how they're dying, why they're doing and why the issues of the panda are more important than that of the moun…

I think it's pretty reasonable to not interact with women if all that's on the news and in mainstream media is that they'll accuse you of anything, despite this issue being underrepresented in the media in place of women's issues. It's not different than taking precautions against men because the news tells you they're all rapists or violent abusers. Neither makes much sense to me personally, but I have a pretty good defence. Either way, you're less likely to get burnt.

Entirely illogical argument used to push programmes like affirmative action. Men and women are biologically different, a Male UTI and a female UTI are obviously going to need specialists that focus on their particular sexual organ. If that's how that works. I've never known anyone with a UTI and hope to not get one. Equity and equality of outcome are not fair, as positive discrimination for one person is negative discrimination for another. Imagine if young girls were denied support for behaviou…

IMO, I think a similar message would be this: Don't tell men that they should like obese people. Don't tell men that they should enjoy your 'freedom' hair. Don't tell men that they should accept if you have genitals that they're uncomfortable with. Don't tell men that you're out of their league, or they're lucky. We all have our preferences, and whether those are emotional, physical, sexual or mental, we should be able to choose who we love, and the type of people that we love. It's not anyone's…

The issue is, that people like him would see it as 'equality' rather than a travesty. This is pretty much the same issue with affirmative action. Throw some people under the bus for those nice little numbers on your annual reports.

I'm sure even if you work it like this, you have to accept that some of the largest group of truly, awfully disadvantaged people would clearly be men, irregardless of however loud some people complain to the contrary. What I was referring to was where the OP stated multiple times that men were privileged anyway, ignoring whatever points were brought up.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/18 11:30 PM

It's more the idea that you can come to 'like' someone who is unhealthy for you and abusing you. There's a better way to explain it, I don't remember the term but this was the closest.

Link providing references to the first prostitute ever? If there hadn't been any men there wouldn't have been anyone to sell your body to, or I guess, you could sell it to other women, but your species would die out real fast.

I agree with this specific statement, but he also supports young kids being shot because of the colour of their skin so I'm a bit torn... Though it's interesting that rabid lefties defend that statement.

This brings attention to this issue. No one else is talking about this stuff. But of course Manspreading is a big issue that men should be publically executed and then fed to the rabid wimmin for.

Then it's not rape, is it? SO what point are you trying to make here? Note that there ARE special exceptions in laws regarding sex to do with power and influence over someone else, such as teachers...

The most concerning part of the article is this... ‘True equal treatment may not always mean treating everyone in the same way,’ the new version says. Fair treatment, judges are told, means that ‘steps can be taken, where appropriate, to redress any inequality arising from difference or disadvantage.’

Male Lawmakers and Leaders are busy dealing with women's issues, is why, and dealing with men's issues would have them removed from those positions. Quite simple, really. See Earl Silverman, a man who tried to make a difference.

It's less a matter of pointing fingers, this decision was entirely in response to feminist complaints about this 'issue' and others like it. The skirtlifters don't like people enjoying their jobs or women in power, it means their personal agenda is weakened.
