I only ever see it when men talk about specifically seeking out troubled women to take advantage of them...

I hate that comparison with a burning passion. I don’t care that they can’t change their height, I’m not gonna date a guy that’s shorter than me. These men seem to think that they aren’t shallow and even moral because they give women they deem unattractive the ‘charity’ of pumping and dumping them.

If it was a woman on that advert, they would somehow blame feminism and cry ‘WhAT aBOut tHE mEN?!?!’ like they always do when body positivity targets women

But somehow all the manchildren on reddit keep screeching about false rape accusations and circulating the same few made up stories while (rich?) men get away with tormenting and brutalizing women even when there is solid proof... I’m just tired of all this shit

I had a bf like that before and it obviously didn't last. Turns out he wasn't that interested and just strung me along. My current bf always texts me throughout the day and lets me know when he doesn't have time to respond. And this is the bare minimum. You should trust your instincts, because contrary to the popular belief that relationships are hArD and require soOo much wORk, you shouldn't have to beg for the bare fucking minimum. Dump his dumbass, there are enough dudes out there.

I feel like people who don't know what FDS is think it's something like PUAs where we try to trick, manipulate and coerce men into doing what we want. They seem to forget that dating as a man vs. as a woman is fundamentally different and that to us it's more about choosing and vetting.

Yeah it's true. I don't get how soo many guys manage to look like a mutated trash can even though the standards to be considered attractive are way lower for them. I have noticed that even in my generation (Gen Z) guys start to develop beer guts in their late teens and early twenties due to terrible eating habits and alcohol. Not to mention how normalized porn and video game addictions are... ETA: The wrinkles you mentioned come from their refusal to do skincare and use SPF. My dad looks 13 year…

The thing with the kinds of posts that OP is talking about is just that it is glaringly obvious that these women haven't even bothered to read the handbook and post their questions on multiple subs, even ones that certainly do not reflect FDS values. As long as your problem isn't something that is dicussed on here literally everyday and isn't explicitly described in the handbook, no one's gonna shun and shoo you. I've also posted a question on here before and I appreciated how insightful all the…

18 is such an arbitrary number to be considered an adult. If they could go lower, they would. And honestly, "older" women shouldn't even try to compete. No good, well adjusted man would go after teenagers; it's always the creepy, controlling perverts.

I'm sure all the women that have been killed by men for rejecting their advances have been releasing the fury from their "rotten little souls" while stamping their "entitled little feet", instead of these men having, you know, a fragile ego and being a POS in general.

I don't think that the victim olympics contributes to a productive discussion, but I have the impression that the dudes in the comments that whine about how "feminists don't care about men's issues" really mean that "feminists should fix our issues for us ( that were caused and perpetuated by other men mind you) while I don't contribute to neither men's nor women's causes". I hope for OP that she got the male attention and validation that she so desperately craved.

I don't think that it should be legalized, but decriminalization for prostitutes is the way to go, so that they can come foward more easily. Pimps and traffickers are the ones that should be penalized harshly. As for porn, I think that it should be illegal for producers to hire porn actors under 21; it's absolutely disgusting that there are girls fresh out of highschool being misled and taken advantage of. I want NONE of that 'barely legal' shit. Porn sites should also require formal consent of …

Eldest daughters are often treated like maids and nannies for younger siblings in their homes while also having less freedoms than their brothers. It's not the same for everyone of course, but this applies to my own experiences and those of my friends for the most part.

Completely agree. An aquaintance of my mom pays 50% of the bills while her husband makes almost double of her income. They have have three kids and when they were done, SHE was the one who got sterilized. And guess who also does the bulk of childcare and chores. She sacrificed and invested so much into this relationship with so little in return. As if most men don't treat their partners as maids, despite them working, already. I don't understand how they don't see that it's not just about the money of a provider, but more about what it entails: a sense of responsibility, maturity and security, which LVM seem to lack as they think they 'got you' with their 'hurr durr thoUgHt yOu wanTeD eQUaliTy haha gO maKe A saMMiCh tHeN'
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/06/20 07:17 AM

I see your point, but some women have internalized misogyny so deeply that they cannot or don't want to be helped anymore. Women like her have no problem tearing other women down for that sweet, sweet male validation, even if it gets them nowhere; the comment of the other girl just pointed that out, it doesn't shame single motherhood in itself.

This isn't a red flag it's a red fucking billboard. Please please please get out of this realtionship ASAP. There is a lot to unpack here, but if this much older man controls all the finances and wants to tie you down with kids even though you openly expressed your wish to be more independent, he is NOT the man for you. His behaviour is insecure and predatory and you shouldn't try to prove your loyalty to him. Don't let him ruin you and your future.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/06/20 03:22 PM

I'm kinda torn when it comes to kids. Since I'm bi, I would love ro raise kids with a woman. But with a man? Not really. I have met so few fathers that are on par with what is generally expected of mothers when it comes to emotional labor, childcare, chores and especially paternity leave. I'm only 18 so maybe I'll change my mind in the future. But as of now, I personally don't think it's worth all the risks; I would be fine with adopting or remaining childfree.

That is plain wrong, what a dumbass. Firstly, most girls menstruated later than now and less regularly because they went longer periods without food, so the chance of a teen girl getting pregnant were lower. Secondly, people weren't stupid back then, they knew that younger girls often died during childbirth. And lastly, it was mostly the aristocracy that married girls off at a young age. I am so sorry that you had to go through that. People tend to ingnore abusive and violent behavior as long as they never experience it themselves or benefit in some way from that person, I've noticed that especially with men and their friends or mothers with their bum ass sons. It's really vile how quick they are to defend abusers and try to silence their victims. I was never hit, but often sexually harrassed or groped. I've personally come across two types of insecure men, namely the ones that get even more insecure when dating a beautiful woman and the ones that get an ego boost out of it. The first type becomes really controlling and possessive in an attempt to keep their girlfriend 'on lock", while simultaneously trying to beat her self esteem down so she would be less likely to leave, because they know she could do way bettee than them. Your mom sounds like a real piece of work. My mom got married at 19 after knowing my dad for a year. For context, that was in Russia and 27 years ago. She told me that she met him via friends, but he wasn't the only one she was seeing. She dated many different guys before she got married, so it's not like people just chose the first person they ran into even if their dating pool was more limited than today. It's reasonable of her to say that she would prefer the money going toward something else tbh. That's on her. But married women spend more of their leisure time on housework and childcare, even when working, and housewives forfeit their ability to make money and put themselves in more vulnerable postion. Most men want kids, so they expect their wives to go through the hell that is pregnancy, childbirth and the aftermath. All of that is expexted and UNPAID, the least a husband could do is show ap…

It probably also has to do with the fact that LVM think that sex is inherently degrading to women. This also explains why some dads slutshame their daughters and forbid them from dating whereas their sons are allowed to do whatever they want. Just looking at the front page of pornhub shows how sex is about domination, degradation and violence towards women. Choking, slapping, spitting, ejaculating on a woman's face, are all considered disrespectful, but have somehow become acceptable in bed. Add…

A few things that helped me personally: Treat the people you're talking to as if they already like you That makes it easier to talk to them and you don't feel like you need to prove yourself; by letting go of a mindset that is centered around getting others to like you and instead evaluating whether you like them, you become more confident and open. I once saw an unpopular opinion that basically said something along the lines of 'having sex with a drunk girl is not rape' and the amount of people that agreed was scary. There were people justifying drunk men raping passed out girls, because they were 'drunk and didn't know better'. In clubs, some men stay until the closing hours to pick up some unfortunate, almost black-out drunk girl (that they like to refer to as 'scraps') to coerce into sleeping with them. But somehow people still claim that there is absolutely nothing wrong with porn because it's always 'consenting adults'. When a woman talked about her rape as a teen that was recorded and published on pornhub, thousands of men searched her name up on there to try and find it. They don't care about the trafficking and exploitation of countless women and even underaged girls as long as they get off.
