Honest question, obviously you know nothing about me but despite being 26 (which is young) I’m often mistaken for being 18-20. Do you think this could be a big turn off for women and one of the reasons I’ve never had luck attracting them? Is it possible I’ll have better luck in my late thirties/early forties, or will I just look like a little boy/old man hybrid when I’m older lol.

I'm a more quiet guy but even when I'm extremely confident and don't try too hard women always get super bored then ghost me. If I'm not constantly talking or trying to keep the convo going then they just get bored and move on without getting to know me. And what is "act accordingly" supposed to mean?

Man why'd the user and the post have to get deleted, this was actually a really good post, esoecially for those of us less experienced. It was quick, to the point, no rubbish or anything controversial. I had bookmarked it for later too. :(

But I already have all that though. I always speak to everyone I meet out of genuine curiosity and wanting to get to know people and hear about their experiences, I'm always warm and inviting, I already focus on my art and hobbies (currently working on an animation), and my daily routines (skincare, meditation, reading before bed, etc.). I felt really grounded and comfortable in myself which was what made me ready to finally start asking women out in the first place. When I first started asking …

I guess my problem is that I can't meet women through my lifestyle. I'm trying to be an animator, though first I'm going to be a teacher for a while, and neither field will be putting me in contact with young single women. And I never met any women going to University, clubs, orgs, gyms, hobbies on my journey so far, so not at 25 I feel screwed to never experience young love.

For most of us its true though, I've already asked out 400 women in the past four years and been rejected by every single one, I've still never been on a date or kissed a girl at 25. Not sure how I'm supposed to not have a scarcity mindset at this point if I do ever meet someone who likes me back.

They get rarer as you get older? But according to Reddit dating is supposed to get easier as men age and that most men don't start dating until their 30's lol

I'm already all of those things, still have never had a gf or even been on a date in my life.

Screw everyone in the comments saying “you don’t want to lose her as a friend.” You have to take your shot, looks like you’ve missed plenty of chances already. Even if you stay her friend she’ll just forget about you when/if she gets a boyfriend or meets a new group of besties.

I show genuine interest in everyone, still a single never been on a date or held a woman’s hand in my life virgin at 25.

Really? Lol, not here, at Uni none of the girls ever wanted to hang out or date, everyone was busy “studying” or focusing on career, as if there wasn’t enough time to date, like see someone once a week as a student lol.

If that were true none of us would be single. He’s not gonna be meeting women spending his time playing video games at home or “chilling” that’s for sure.

Thanks, this is a lot of good advice here. I've always been the relatively calm and relaxed individual, I don't usually show any physical signs of anxiousness or nervousness like twitching, etc. I've also tried going out with the mindset of "let's see if they can impress me" type of thinking. For some reason my calm demeanor and relaxed nature doesn't seem to really help, other people usually tend to get bored and move on real quick if I'm not quick to start making them laugh or bring some excit…

Thanks the the feedback, I really appreciate it. Bulking has been hard, whenever I start increasing my weights and eating more it all goes to my face and gives me a fat baby face lol. then it goes to my gut and you can hardly tell I work out, just makes me fat.

Pretty great insight here! Anywhere you can reccomend travelling to? I wouldn't want to pick the wrong place to travel to and then end up learning nothing or not having any sex.

It's hard to see what I could do differently, I've tried being direct, dating apps, being friends over time, nothing. My direct approaches don't seem to do anything, being friends for a few says doesn't do anything, friendships spanning months to years never result in anything.
/r/seduction20/03/25 09:11 PM

I'm the same, all I see are women in their 40's-60's wherever I go, bars, stores, the mall, etc. Whenever I see young women they're with other men, usually pretty obviously boyfriends or husbands.
/r/seduction20/03/25 09:06 PM

Thanks this is real good advice, I'll have to start putting myself in more fun situations where I can show off my energy and make myself seem more fun and attractive. Saved the vid for later, thanks!

Same here, my guy friends always tell me I'm a catch, but the results show otherwise. And none of my many girl companions have ever become anything more than friends, they always get a boyfriend while we're in the hanging out phase, or they reject me outright. Doesn't matter if we've been friends for days, weeks, years, they always reject me.

What about every other college and hs student who didn't have to travel but still got laid? If I can't pull chicks in my own hometown I doubt I'll be able to in other states.

No thanks, I'm done with the gym. Spending money to bulk was draining my bank account every month, and no matter how hard I worked out the weight all went to fat and I looked like a huge baby. I've settled on just mainting low body fat and looking like a decent thin man, maybe try to get that teenage/boy band look like Tom Holland or the Jonas brothers rather than waste my time trying to be a bulky Henry Cavil when that isn't even possible anyways.

Oh man, I'm sorry about your struggles man. Not the same, but similar, but my younger cousin 7 yrs youngers has had three relationships each right after the other for about a decade now, and I'm pretty confused since he was the nasty, misbehavior in the family back when our grandparents would babysit us after school and I was the one eating my dinner, drawing, and doing hw while he was the one having tantrums and making messes lol. How do I do this and apply it to real world settings? I did something similar (if I'm understanding you correctly) back in middle school. One day during group projects I randomly got up and walked away from my group of boys and approached the hottest girl in the class then tapped her should and said "excuse me" with teddy bear eyes and a sweet voice, then said "you turn me on" then walked away as the whole class including the girl laughed. Thing is something like that wouldn't work as an adult a…

I think I'm a weird middle ground, I'm definitley not as shallow as the nice guy response, but I wouldn't react as loudly as the risky reaction either. I think I'd be more like, "What!? No way, what do you like about six?" hear them out then explain why I like 5 better. I might point out my disagreements or ask them why they like what they say they like. I had a very similar convo sith a girl about THor Ragnarok back in high school, but she took it way worse than I would have thought, she pretty…

Damn you're lucky lol. I like the idea of getting into romance novels, I'm already into romance movies and things of the such. Thanks for your hinesty here, I don't know how to convey that hook or curiosity you're talking about though. I've tried being satirical nad shrewd before, but people always think I'm an idiot or an asshole, only works with a very small margin of individuals.

I read pretty good self-improvement books, my favorites so far being Mark Manson's "Models," Dale Carnegie's "How to Wind Friendsand Influence People," etc. I think the closest to an archetype I have is the "nice guy." I've always been the friendly cheerful guy growing up, always positive, always making classmates and coworkers smile and laugh, I've been compared to SpongeBob before lol. But for most my life few people have ever taken me seriously.

I don't drink, raised by alcoholic abusive parents. I've been to my local bars multiple times since then, every time every bar is always men by themselves in their 50's. On rare occasions I see young women they're with their boyfriends.
/r/seduction14/03/25 10:24 PM

Mark Manson's Models is literally my dating Bible. All my lessons came from that book, following advice like "it's a f*ck yes from the woman or a f*ck no" and being open to meeting new individuals, not judging them or ruling them out based on a minor inconvenience or "flaw," like when he didn't ask out the gym girl for waring a shirt that had the "PINK" brand logo on it, etc.

I'm able to make acquaintances easy but they never escalate to attraction from the other end.
/r/seduction14/03/25 10:16 PM

For the past five years I've been trying to meet women at Uni/during daygame at stores. I didn't try the bar thing sooner because of my family's history of alcohol abuse and having an abusive father, I swore to never drink (and stilll haven't). Maybe eventually I can update my profile pics, haven't really been motivated to use Tinder again for a while.
/r/seduction14/03/25 10:12 PM

There are other ways to meet women then bars. I've been doing Uni/daygame approach this whole time plus dating apps. The bar was a horrible experience, literally all men in their 50's at all my local bars lol

In that case I'm screwed. Other men in school were able to get dates no problem, and I knew neckbeards, druggies, and people just generally far less attractive and far more violent, disgusting, and lacking in self-awareness than me getting all the women in school. Doesn't make sense. I'm sorry but I don't have the patience to be asking out thousands of women, I just can't. At this point not sure what to do, I can't live another decade being single like this anymore.

That’s a good idea, maybe I can make one tomorrow. There isn’t much to say, but when cold approaching I usually approach someone I see in a grocery store, Target, etc. and say something along the lines of - “Excuse me, hi, sorry to interrupt you while you’re (shopping, working, etc.), but I just noticed you right now while I was walking by and just had to say that I think that you’re really (cute, attractive, etc.) My name is ___, what’s yours? Thanks for the detailed response I really appreciate it. Maybe I should have put more detail, but basically what I’m saying is that I’ve never had any problem interacting with the opposite gender and like you said, making acquaintances. So I’m actually pretty good with making acquaintances even if just on a superficial level. The hundreds of female friends are a culmination of random women from the decades of school, work, etc. so many of them I’m no longer in contact with. In general most of th…

Still a seemingly hostile way of expressing this. Even if a gay man without context commented “no where near a woman” anywhere they’d be banned or attacked by countless comments calling him a sexist misogynist. A lesbian doesn’t have to say “no where near a man” to describe their perfect Valentines evening, list what you’d want to do with your woman would be more effective. If you don’t like men you don’t have to bring up men in your comment.

Thanks, unfortunately I'm short at 5'6 which might hinder myself no matter where I go. Honestly I don't consider myself CONVENTIONALLY attractive, but I don't think I look bad either. I consider myself at least a six, maybe a 7 if I could improve my hair and if my cheek fat didn't come back so easily. I still like the idea of going and using Hinge in the areas though.

Just a few hours up, I live in Bakersfield CA, about an hour and a half from Los Angeles and about 3-4 hours from San Diego. I've stayed in SD on vacation in the past, but never tried cold approaching or using dating apps there. I made it a habit to go out 2-3 hours a few times a week just to cold approach at places like Target and malls about three years ago. Even in those 2-3 hours I'm lucky to find any woman around my age or attractive, its always men and old people out and about. After getting to know them during our classes I'd eventually ask them if they wanted to hang out outside of class or sometimes even ask them if they'd be willing to go out on a date but there was always an excuse (I have a boyfriend, I'm not dating right now to focus on my studies, you seem like a nice guy but I'm not interested right now, I just got out of a relationship, etc.)…

Ok, at this point I might as well stop going for numbers anyways. I'll just try to start convos, even if most of the time the regular convos I do try to start with people never really go anywhere. Just gonna be harder now sonce my last few approaches have been especially harsh. I think everyone is life has different priorities, passions, and goals. In my opinion there is nothing greater in life than love, romance, and sex. I’m sorry but I’ve been prioritizing my physical and mental health for four years already, if it was enough I wouldn’t be feeling the way I am now. I’ve been content on my own all my life, following my passions, trying to make a web series, fitness, hobbies, etc. it’s not enough.

Models has been my Bible of dating, in particular Manson’s section on not judging/being avoidant before asking someone out (the chapter where he begins with the analogy of the gym girl wearing “PINK” branded pants and Manson almost using it as an excuse to not ask her out). I’ve used that as inspiration to try to strike up strangers with any woman I found even remotely attractive and ask her out since you never know which girl could be the one. The truth is I was that guy you describe in your se…

As previously mentioned I’ve dealt with six different therapists all of whom did nothing for me. I’m sorry but I’ve gotten more out of my practice of self-awareness and action than paying hundreds to thousands of dollars to those hacks.

Thanks this actually helps a little. It still sucks I never got to experience young love though, like sneaking out of the house at night together, not having to worry about work the next day and paying bills, not caring about each other finances, etc. I’ll just be a boring old man paying bills and dating single moms that rejected me when they weee young and childfree looking to take advantage of my stability. I wanted to experience young love not middle age dystopian crap

Being told not to date in high school and instead wait till college was the worst advice I’d ever gotten in my life. I passed on so many opportunities in high school and now I’m a sexless, kiss-less 25 year old virgin who graduated from college. Dating was nonexistent in college, all college girls care about is studying for classes and getting jobs or hanging out with girl classmates.

I’ve been to six different therapists they were all useless. I’ve learned more about myself through self-reflection and analysis of my own life then from one of those over-priced colors. I’ve been told it gets better as I age since I was 15, I was told college was going to be my goldmine of dating, yet no one cared for dating as everyone was more concerned with studying, school, or their career (like one hour long date is going to make you fail your next exam or prevent you from reaching your dr…

Bruh I’m tired of all these “meet women in real life” posts. I hate to repeat myself, but I’ve been doing this for four years now and I still can’t get so much as a single date. After losing 70 pounds, going to the gym for an hour a day six days a week, cooking from home, creating a new wardrobe from scratch, hobbies, meditation, basically everything the internet told me to do, and cold approaching/asking out women at University, grocery stores, Targets, etc., I’ve still yet to get a single phon…

How much “working on yourself” is enough though? Speaking for myself, I began self-improving five years ago, I lost 70 pounds, created a new wardrobe from scratch, learned how to cook, started grooming myself, got many hobbies (most notably art) and more, but it hasn’t made dating any easier. I still get rejected by every single woman I ask out.

Thanks for the advice, yeah maybe I don't have to apologize immediately. Admitedly seeing my approach again it does seem kind of cringey, apologizing first thing, noticing them and saying they're attractive suddenly, even the compliment seems a little butt-kissy. I agree maybe I'm not cut out for cold approach, I just don't have any clue how else to meet women, especially my age. Uni didn't help, clubs didn't help, high school no one, etc. I need good proximity but I already graduated and now I'…

You must be really hot cause for most women this would signal extremely needy and unsexy behavior. Bringing flowers on every single date and talking via technology for two weeks seem excessive, most women ghost after a day or two of texting if they don’t feel a spark or get asked out immediately

Get this same piece of advice on here everyday. I’ve been putting myself, my goals, passions, hobbies, fitness, etc. on priority for over a decade now, I’ve still never been on a date in my life, I’ve still been rejected by over 350 women.

I had actually volunteered at a local animal shelter for a short period a while back. It's something I'd be willing to do again in the future, rn I'm focusing on a massive project I've been working on for a few months, hoping to get it done before the summer. Moving would definitley help. To be fair many of the women I've asked out weren't my age. A lot were well into their 30s-mid fourties (guesstimating), maybe half were in their 20s if that. I tried following Mark Manson's advice of giving an…

The problem is I have done this. I gave myself the mindset to just focus on getting to know people in the past, approaching anyone just to get to know who they are what they're doing, etc. In general all my life even back in school I always tried to get to know people without any other ulterior motives, they never lead to anything, certainly not relationships.

The fact that she cares enough to feel subconscious about how you perceive her rather than telling you to F off and walk away alone shows you have a strong frame and she’s the one who needs to please you. This is great, as others said all you did was a tease/neg, no ill intentions involved. If it ever comes up again naturally (don’t force it, you’ll destroy your frame and reveal yourself a people pleaser or return her to the position of power over you), then bring up that you think it’s cute/ado…

Thanks man, huge help. Is there a way to make the convo more casual, in my experience as soon as I mention their attractiveness it gets them too reserved to open up or they try to get out of the situation, maybe if I could talk for five mins before bringing up the attractiveness then moving on another five mins before asking her out after the ten minute mark would help.

I hadn't thought of that, talking to men might make for good practice while improving my social skills. I've approached a few men, usually on college campus, just to talk tho never for that long. THe next time you see her please just approach her, tell her you think she's cute, and ask her if she'd like for you to give her your number. You're fine to approach and ask her out because you two have already made eye contact and other interactions before. You're lucky, most men never even get the opportunity to approach, you have the opportunity but you aren't taking it cause you're too shy to take it.

Thanks for the rejection advice, it';; be hard at first but I'm just going to have to pull through and practice /grow a thick skin. Better to be rejected than to never try and never see results!

Yes, great analogy. Its just like temporarily using training wheels! Yeah I'm really shy too, but slowly I think its been getting better, working out has been making a big difference!

Thanks, luckily my dad has weights and workout DVDs, so I've been working out here at home. I buy my own groceries with my allowance, so I'm not able to consume as many calories as I'd like right now. Yeah, I'll keep working on confidence for now.

Thanks, Viarco, that actually sounds really fun. You get to meet new people and practice your social skills without making any commitment, and while your at it you might meet a new friend or find someone you like. Genius, thanks!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
