This seems like something impossible to prove let alone study and I solemnly believe this is just you projecting your opinion onto other people. Anecdotal experiences will never account for what actually happens anywhere else in the world. Life is bigger than you and your friend group.

The women friends I've had I've lost because of insecure partners. I'd hear it all the time so I've not had many in my circle. Also, after losing them and working predominantly male field it makes it difficult to even make friends let alone women who think you're only trying to get in their pants when you just want to make friends.

I also experience this I've had other men get cautious of my appearance because I have a RBF and am physically imposing or threatening to enough people?
