Yo dude, that's why it's called meditation practice. You are literally practicing getting back to the moment (usually, your breath). If you mess up and your mind wanders, that's just another chance to practice noticing that you wandered and to get back. It's what is supposed to happen, you're not doing it wrong.

While having flamboyantly dressed men reciting pick-up lines can be dismissed as farcical, a more disconcerting interwoven adjunct ideology began to develop within some hemispheres of the pick-up community. This adverse ideology prayed on a man’s sense of feeling inadequate or derelict, and fueled any contempt that these men may have already held towards women for rejecting or hurting them in the past. disconcerting interwoven adjunct ideology dafuq

Pretty good response from /u/erikangstrom above. But it focuses a lot on external things, but there's something deeper in you that you need to be aware of: jealousy, like every insecurity, has its basis in fear. You need to recognize what it is you're afraid of, and in recognizing it, process it, and let it go. Maybe you're afraid of being left, maybe you're afraid of being labelled as being with an "easy" girl, maybe something else. But it's not enough to recognize that these things are illogic…

A game, huh. Would you call it "The Game"? And then we could call being good at it "having game." Maybe you could market a best-selling book about The Game? Maybe even a TV show! You're going places, kiddo.

No, please, no. Do not try to be friends with a girl that rejected you. That reeks of desperation. You need to get in this mindset to be attractive to women: "I have plenty of friends. I am looking for a woman."

It means she wasn't attracted to you. Fortunately for us guys, we can improve that pretty easily. -Hit the gym hard. -Care about clothes that fit. -Be a people person. I'm not going to rewrite Models in this post. But that's what it meant, pal. Just look at this as a learning experience. Oh, and definitely for sure don't be "friends" with her. You have enough friends.

Yo, I had this exact problem, right down to the max weight, the height, and the current weight. Dude, it doesn't matter, seriously. Start hitting the gym (I recommend SL 5x5 for beginners) to re-sculpt those parts. It's been ten years since I lost the weight but I still have loose skin, and let me tell you, it does not matter at all.

It's different for every relationship. The key to consider here is how into her you are, and how into you she is. I've been dating this girl for three weeks officially, and I am taking her to the Virgin Islands in February. I'm buying her a plane ticket and a three-day pass to the electronic music festival Ultra in Miami for Christmas. But what if you guys aren't over the moon like we are? No, you're going about this all wrong. This isn't Mystery's Fantasy World from 2003, this is real life. In life, we attract women by becoming more attractive, not by faking anything. We develop our conversation skills, we up our style, we hit the gym, we get passionate about our careers. We focus on our social skills so that we can attract women when we're out, but it attracts everyone. Those same skills apply to our working life, and we get even better. Then, once we are awesome, the women are …

1) Simply not true. Not even a little true. Huge misconception. They just have more qualifications for "giving it up." 2) Ever heard of a same-night lay? Fast attraction. Obsession? Nope, that's there too. 3)Well, that goes for everyone, not just women. 4)No. Men absolutely must lead the interaction/relationship. Make the whole thing your frame, your timeline. You come off as creepy only when you do not have sufficient attraction.

It is socially unusual to go up to a girl in the middle of the day and tell her she's attractive and start to talk to her. It's not weird or bad, but just unusual. edit: To be clear- it being unusual is why it works.

Or whatever you like. -Get some wine (a chilled white is nice) (if you are 21+). -Get a blanket. -Get a picnic basket. Or a backpack. -Put that stuff in the basket. -Take your girl to a park and find a nice spot. -Eat the food. -You just had a picnic.

Oh. No, no car is not an issue really. Yes you clearly want to date, what do you expect, she'll just come over and jump you? You can date her without being her boyfriend. Take her somewhere you like, where you know someone (social proof etc), and where you can be next to her and not across from her. Somewhere you can talk, not a movie. It can be just about anything that fulfills that stuff. Some successful dates of mine: picnic in a park, bar/dancing, casual restaurant where you can sit next to …

"Depends"= she wants to go out with you and/or you to come out with her. Depends on if you ask or not. Whether or not this is true (it will be like 80% of the time), if you approach it like it is, your confident response will make it true.

Yeah, I just copy-pasted. I don't use the words "adorable" or "random," if I can help it. I would really rather use a compliment other than just "durr you're pretty." Better, I think, is a specific observation-"You look really great in that dress." Or something non-physical: "you have great style" (this works because the way I dress shows I care about this, YMMV).
/r/seduction25/05/13 01:11 PM

Hate to complicate this, but I think it helps to acknowledge the fact that it's socially unusual to walk up to someone and say this, e.g.: "Hey, I know this is totally random, but I thought you were absolutely adorable and if I didn't come meet you I'd kick myself all day, my name is Felosele"

Hey, this could be easily solved by the OP, but I am going to go ahead and defend my thinking on Reddit anyway! I'm 5'10" and muscular but not exactly jacked, weigh 170 at ~15% bf. That means my LBM is ~145lbs. Let's say he is super muscles and, while being two inches shorter than I am, is really really strong and has 15 more lbs LBM than I do, at 160. That leaves 90 lbs of fat. 90/250=36% bf.

Everyone asks girls at college what their major is. Fine, do that, but then ask why. Ask what they love about that major, why they chose it. Use your questions to find out what kind of person she is. Find out something cool about her and interpret it. For example, "You've always had a love of languages? That's really cool, I think communication between people of different background and countries is really important, I can see why you love that." Or something like that, I just made that up.

I like to think I am alpha, and I am definitely not an ass. Here is how I would react in these situations: -Greet warmly. I am friendly with all of my exes. If there's one you aren't, fake it. You aren't changing your appearance "just for the game." You aren't standing up straighter, being confident, making eye contact "just for the game." You're doing these things because you want to be better for yourself. It will make your life better, trust me. Cut, bro. 5'8", 250, you and I know that's a lot of muscle, but a girl (or anyone who doesn't lift) sees that and just thinks "fat." And let's be honest. your body fat % is definitely > 30/35%, unless you are on some serious steroids.

What? No, this is not "negging," in fact, I think negs are terrible. I wasn't suggesting something you could try, I was suggesting a reason behind why this works so well for you. To be clear, I am not saying don't do this. Do it.

The only thing that makes you a good dancer is if you think you are a good dancer. No one in clubs can really dance (except for me, brah, I'm a great dancer*), but if you look confident, have your shoulders back, and are just having a good time with the music, that is good dancing. Showing you're out having fun is what is attractive, not having sweet moves. *Ok, I am not a good dancer. People just think I am because I am self-assured.

When it's time, she should already be hanging out in your "splash zone"- six to twelve inches from your face. If she isn't, it's not time to go for the kiss. To get closer, take a step towards her while you're talking. Then touch her arms. then put a hand on her hip. Basic escalation stuff.

Depends on the setting. Depends on your level of comfort. "Come here." [note the period. say it confidently.] will work wonders if she's ready to kiss you. If she isn't, and you need to escalate first, take her hand and pull her up if she's sitting: "I want you to be on the same level as I am." If you are both standing, you should be touching her already, bro. Way before you start thinking about a kiss.

I know nothing about cancer, except to say well done. I was, however, the fat kid all through middle and high school. Now I'm the hot guy. I'm not sure exactly how hot I am, but that's how I feel. "Fake it 'til you make it" works, but what you have to do is actually be it, and believe that is who you are, so that acting differently is at odds with your view of yourself as a person. i.e. Not "Yeah! Ok, I have a big problem with this. This analyzes how to execute a successful speed date. A speed date is a 4-minute potential-romance interview. It is a very different frame from how people normally interact. These Stanford guys aren't exactly going to study how effective kino can be if introduced in the first four minutes. And, as we know, it is very, very effective. Much more effective than finishing her sentences or whatever.

/r/seduction07/05/13 01:28 PM

Sitting across from a first date spells disaster. You can't escalate at all, there's no connection, it's more like an interview than anything. Go somewhere you can sit at the bar and eat, or go to an actual bar, or go somewhere like a park and sit beside her and drink wine (iced tea if you're <21). tl;dr: Girls love parks.
