So…bitterness it is. Best of luck, gentlemen.

I’m going to play devil’s advocate here… All of those things are really nice, but what kind of partners were you and she emotionally with each other? Are you the type of man that’s comfortable being vulnerable? We live in a society that sends boys very toxic, dysfunctional messages about how men are “suppose” to behave that set them up to fail in long term relationships before they even start. A lot of men grow up internalizing the belief that vulnerability is a sign of weakness when in truth vu…

I think you need to start by comparing box office numbers between action movies where the protagonist/hero is male vs the very few action movies where the protagonist/hero is female thar by some miracle got green lit for production and made it into theaters nationwide, before we label this societal misandry. Our most precious resources/commodities are our time and our money, because you don’t know how much you get of either until it’s over and done. How people spend their time and their money gi…

That’s because she is a police officer, not because she’s female.

That is to compensate for a long historical bias where medical research was based on treating male physiology as the default. Women were largely excluded from clinical trials until the early 1990s, leading to a massive research gap. If it seems like modern healthcare hates men but loves women, that’s due to the limited vantage point you have based on what point in time you were born…and if women’s health would ever be concerning enough to you to keep tabs on it. What you are seeing played out is…

What do we reward them with? Our vaginas?

There are different degrees of desirability. Using casual sex as barometer for desirability is like a person on a job hunt thinking being able to just land an interview means he/she will get the job of their dreams. Casual sex, just like a job interview, often ends in the person you want desiring you to learn that they don’t desire you in the slightest and just wasted 10 minutes of their lives they won’t get back. Just about every woman over 30 has at least a few tales of casual sex that they wi…

But, you were attacking therapists on the basis of their ethics not the legitimacy of the type of healthcare they provide.

How so? Doctors have skin in the game of treating sick people, do they not? If you believe that therapists prevent their patients from improving so the patient keeps returning for more sessions to increase the therapists profits, why can’t a doctor do the same thing with a sick patient?

That’s the thing. The type of person that would use communication techniques taught in therapy, wouldn’t be a person that would actually go to therapy. If they went, there is a chance that the therapist would want to talk about their dysfunctional behaviors, and dysfunctional people avoid anything and anyone that may shine a bright spotlight on the fact that THEY are the problem. They are just you going to Google and misunderstood and misuse what they read and turn it into a technique to stop th…

You have never learned anything in therapy that you attempted to implement in your life?

Not as obtuse as not seeing that the reasoning in your statement and the reasoning in her example are the same. Do you always view things so dichotomously? Like something is all good or all bad and nothing in between. No nuance. Just extremism. That kind of thinking really distorts reality.

What exactly is “therapy culture?” Are you actually going to therapy or are you just cherry pick things you’ve heard that therapists say to their clients and then use them (inappropriately and illogically most likely) when a woman is confronting you about something? It would be helpful if you could personalize, give some context, and expand on your examples of you really want to debate this. With what little you provided in the way of supporting evidence, I have to ask when are you using phrases…

Sweetie, this is a universal problem that knows no boundaries. It doesn’t discriminate by one’s ethnicity, religion, political views, address, AGI and definitely not your gender. This meaning this is NOT a problem due to toxic gender roles (they are toxic but in a way that really benefits men, but that is a whole other post). This is a widespread individual issue and your self worth and seeing your own value, and honestly there is sociological research out there. Lots of it, but I think this is …

I hadn’t even thought about fights at school in regard to any of this. My observations, if memory serves, were boys seemed to be more likely to engage in a fight, but it was different. They would primarily be throwing punches, they would going until campus security pulled them apart or they wore each other out, but the weirdest phenomenon was how the boys would be after the fight. If they were already friends before the fight, they probably would be fine the next day with each other. If they wer…

Which gender, in your opinion, would resort to violence more quickly and which one would you say would resort to violence more often? When it comes to overall personal physical safety, which gender, in your opinion, needs to exercise more caution than the other?

Your calculations are very similar to Colombia’a (that’s the country not DC) sentencing laws on murder convictions. If convicted of multiple murders, prison sentences can only served concurrently, not consecutively. That means you get the same amount of time whether you murdered just 1 person or if you murdered 1,000,000 people. Pretty crazy, huh? It has the same amount of injustice but somehow makes more sense than wherever that special math was taking you

The number of incidents of women cutting of their partners’ genital is very low pre Bobbitt and post Bobbitt. That’s an outlier. Overall, fathers more often than mothers commit filicide but mothers committing such a heinous act is viewed more harshly in our society than a father committing the same crime, making a story about mother killing her children more likely to be covered in news media due to the level of shock value specific to that gender double standard. That’s not even factoring in is…

Because, it may be extreme in the sense of the extent of injury, but believing women being murdered by an intimate partner to be extreme as in it rarely occurs makes me want to ask how often do you think it happens and how many women would need to be murdered per day in the US to categorize this as a National problem that needs to be addressed vs an outlier we don’t need to worry about in your opinion?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
