2	Petition to remove SRS from Reddit I don't claim it doesn't. I've merely been trying to explain that not all SRS users sare the views of the sub. Take myself for example, I like to have open, civilized discourse. This is not true of many of the mods, of multiple subs (not just SRS) who will either ban a dissenting opinion immediately or preemptively. This is the reason that I stated earlier that has to do with engaging in conversations with SRSers outside the sub. That said, there are many rational users there, much like there are rational users here. I find that it is valuable criticism of the sub, and most users would do well to critically examine the way that they belittle people that don't share their point of view. I completely agree that you were treated unfairly by the mods who run the sub. Outside the subreddit is where the most fruitful and useful conversations happen. The rules are all pretty clearly stated in the sidebar, and if you were expressing unexamined and unchecked privilege, or were being homophobic, misogynist, or just a pretentious douche, then they have every right to ban you.
