2	Question about the man vs bear debate. Also it's great you keep harping on doctors and then ignore that most women end up in pediatrics (women are nurturers) or gynecology (women have vaginas). I did mention radiology vs pediatrics, so I don't think I'm "ignoring" it. First off, no, that's not the same with extra steps, we generally don't feel that an engineer is so much more logical than a doctor or lawyer that we should take him much more seriously. 1	Question about the man vs bear debate. No, you just don't have a clue what the patriarchy is. See this is why I don't like changing definitions. My definition if patriarchy is the strict one, that the positions of highest power and status are filled by men. Which has always been true with a high degree of accuracy, but is IMO mostly due to the variance, not average, being higher for men in many aspects of life, including social status and reproductive success. I do think some women are sincerely afraid of becoming the victim of a violent crime.
